Wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend if you are staying in Brownsville!

This is an older hotel, but they’ve done an excellent job at updating each room and all the spaces. Hotel staff was also kind.

The room was clean but did have a few worn spots as to be expected. The staff was exceptional; Candy, Oscar, Martin, Alfredo, and Leo were courteous patient and kind. They all went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable under the circumstances. The stay overall was great with the exception of not having an elevator available. That made the transition to the room difficult. We were in town for a baseball tournament and carrying gear up and down several flights of stair were not easy. I also have knee and neck issues, so I had to walk slowly. This was not a reflection on the staff; you could tell they were embarrassed to tell the guests about the non-working elevator. Breakfast was good and had some variety every day. We joined the Social Hour once and that staff member was rude (Dalia-bartender runs the time). She refused to speak to me in English even though I had heard her speaking English right before I turned the corner. Parking was easily available.

Loved how the staff was very sweet and informative. My room smelt like mold so bad. I woke up both mornings with a horrible migraine because of it.

The priority of any issues were dealt with immediately, informed the desk clerk of possible water leaks and maintenance were called to fix the problem immediately. Leo, maintenance man, inspected the area and helped with the tv programming. Thank you.

Clean room and very helpful and friendly staff. Some jewelry was left behind when I checked out the staff was nice and honest enough to turn it into the front desk.

The TV didn't work even though they came and got it going 3 times. The streaming didnt work at all and live TV didn't have any local channels and almost all channels constantly pixelated. I found the hotel to be very noisy. The ice machine was out of order for most of my stay. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning my room. The breakfast and happy hour were a nice touch and the food was quite good.

The room was spacious and comfortable, great bed, lots of pillows and towels. Excellent pool and hot tub. Fantastic breakfast and lobby. Very nice and helpful reception staff!

Oscar and the other receptionists were especially kind and very friendly! The breakfast was really good and the people that we've food and treats were so nice! My family really liked the gum, poo and especially, the hot tub!

I really like the convenient location and easy parking. Also the happy hour from 6 to 8 where they provided free sodas and beer, and a small plate of food, it's different each day but one day they had spaghetti and meatballs for example. The only thing that bothered me is that they never changed the sheets. I know this for a fact because there was what seemed to be a coke stain on the side of the bed on the fitted sheet and they never changed it because it was always there when they made the bed. I kept forgetting to mention it to management because I was always trying to leave and get to my family quickly. Another thing is that the key that you scan at the hotel room door kept falling so I had to keep coming back to the front desk to get it activated again and this happened three times. The male staff was excellent, friendly and courteous; however, the lady that had long blonde hair behind the counter every day when I would l would leave in the morning was always glued to her phone and never said hello nor good morning nor smiled, actually never looked up from her phone, it's horrible that people don't realize that.
