Colony Inn

We always stay here when we visit knotts berry farm but this visit to this hotel was the worse our room was full of cockroaches there were live roaches crawling on the walls and floor and dead ones all over the floor we didn’t even bring down our luggage cause it was so bad we hardly slept for the fear of the roaches crawling on us while we slept this is our last time staying at the hotel. This hotel has gotten so bad.

Right across from knotts berry farm The dressers were broken. The room smelled really bad. Keep hearing water in the toilet running all night.

Everything Note

It was walking distance from knots berry farm, we saved on parking since we were able to walk to the park. Rooms had mini fridge and microwave. Room was good size beds were comftarble. Hotel was outdated, there were a few homeless people hanging out outside hotel and there were a few that looked abandon cars in the parking lot. They had coffee but no cups, sugar or creamer.

It was close to knotts There was roaches made me discussed.

Everything Nothing

Really close to Knott’s Berry Farm There was a mysterious white liquid throughout the entire room. The bedsheets had stains and hair on them, there was hair in the bathroom in the shower, and no towels. There was also a $50 cash deposit with no receipt being provided unless asked.

Room was large and clean. Staff acommodated requests for early check in, downstairs location and iron and ironing board. No clothes hangers or hair dryer provided. Iron and ironing board were provided upon request. No breakfast offered. Ice machine was out of service both this stay and during my last stay in Decxember 2025.

It was nice till I found roaches in the bathroom last night

Not gonna lie, it wasn't very good. All the dressers were broken, broken TV, lamp was broken, holes in the wall, and stained towels. At least they had a pool that was kinda nice that had a shower outside to rinse off. I read reviews after I had booked that said there were cockroaches and hoped not to find any, but we definitely did. Also there are no phones or ice. I think it would be smart for this hotel to renovated a room at a time to make a better environment for both them and the guest.

I really liked that they didn't trip out on our service dog and that we were allowed to have a guest over if we chose to. At the Morada in they kicked us out when my girl friend came by to pick up some things that I bought for her kitten she literally was in my room for 2 seconds and they were already calling and then he said you have one minute to get her out or I'm kicking you out I'm 30 seconds later the front desk called and kicked us out and we had just paid our rent I do not recommend to go to the Mirada Inn I recommend you go to the Colony Inn Buena Park. Its way better there. There were some unsavory little guests but thats what you get with motels anywhere near Beach Blvd with all the homeless people there

Cleanliness

Nothing Very unprofessional staff campgrounds very safe illegal activities went on at this location unsanitary and unclean facilities late night fights and weapon usage also be careful of being illegally recorded in your room very unsafe will not be returning to this location ever. Also it has a bug infestation if you do not like bugs in your room this is not the place for you.
