This facility is labeled as Motel six, so it made it very confusing when we were trying to find the Vagabon Inn. It is pretty rundown, the first room they put us in was so dirty, I immediately went to the office and they gave me another room, it was cleaner, but still not sparkling clean, I ended up bringing Clorox wipes so that I could wipe everything down the front office. Staff was very nice though and very helpful to us.

Are stay stay was good it was nice the employees were helpful, they always supplied us with clean towels clean sheets as needed. office staff they're really nice and friendly they always were there to help and when we needed something they helped us figure it out. Manager here at the Vagabond in Camarillo she's very helpful and friendly. We enjoy are stay here and we will recommend it to our family and friends.

Although this property has switched franchises from Vagabond Inn to Motel 6 it is still a great choice for an affordable stay. Rooms are small but clean and efficient.

I will start off with one positive. The check out clerk in the morning was nicer and seemed as if he would have taken care of my room request had he checked me in. Now for the negative for the check in clerk, I had requested on the top floor. I was called twice to confirm this before arriving and I was told that it was set. When I checked in I was told that somehow my reservation had become one for requesting a handicap room, which I never requested, and that all handicapped rooms were on the bottom floor. And that the hotel was full and I could not get a room on the 2nd floor ( two story hotel). I also requested being away from any elevator or staycase, and the room I got was right next to a stairway. When I requested a different room I was told that there were already people in all the handicap rooms. And this was at 3:30 pm, only a 1/2 hour before the start of check-ins could be start! The check-in person should have been more accommodating. And the room did not even have a real closet for hanging up clothes. Just a small short cabinet. Vagabond hotels recently took over this no frills Motel 6. And I have stayed a many Motel 6's and this is one is now on the bottom of my list.

My partner and I have stayed at this property multiple times. Last time was no issue. This time. The room smelled heavily of urine (from the AC). And AGAIN the ice machine is broken. I know they replaced it and it’s already broken. The staff is good. I just know there are issues with the re-branding.
