Excellent

The hotel has a pyramid type shape so there’s tiered rooms that have patios. I’ve stayed here three times. Every time the place is clean nice I really enjoy the patio. The bar restaurant was good. Everyone was friendly. Hotel staff was super friendly and helped us get out of the parking garage when we accidentally dropped off our room key which gives you access with your vehicle from the garage.

Air conditioning was down. Staff was very helpful booking us an alternative hotel

The Hotel A/c unit was down and it was very hot. They offered fans and some discounts. If it wasn’t 80plus degrees in the hotel, it would have been a great stay.

Everything was good

Rate. Also, they said they would allow for early checkout without a penalty but because I booked thru a 3rd party (Expedia) they could not refund me directly. So now i have to go thru Expedia which is typically a losing battle.

There was no air conditioning, which they didn't tell us about before checking in. Also, the shower was not functioning, so we were delayed in our activities until the situation was resolved. No one volunteered to compensate us in any way for all the inconvenience until we persisted. We were eventually given free parking and breakfast. Some of the staff were polite enough but not very pro-active in suggesting solutions. Overall, very disappointed with stay. I sensed a reluctance to provide assistance although eventually some was provided. We were given a fan but the room smelled awful. I wouldn't recommend staying at a Hyatt.

I would just be forewarned that this property does not have air conditioning right now. They will not inform you until you arrive. I would be cautious, we stayed on one of the lower floors and it was quite unbearable even with a fan. Was up all night sweating.

Everything was good during the stay

The staff was incredible, unfortunately their air-conditioning broke and was out for the week.

The air conditioning in the hotel was not working during our stay. Surprisingly, this was not acknowledged until late on our second day, and only after we called the front desk to ask why our room was so warm. A fan was eventually sent to our room, but it was loud, ineffective, and did little to make the room comfortable. Daytime temperatures were in the high 80s, and because the windows cannot be opened, there was no way to get fresh air or improve ventilation. The only communication we received was a generic letter stating that the air conditioning would likely be out for several more days. There was no personal apology, no acknowledgment of how uncomfortable this made our stay, and no effort by management to address guests’ concerns. In fact, we never saw a manager available to speak with or offer assistance. The only compensation offered was free bottled water and the option to waive the early departure fee if we chose to leave. After traveling to Boston and already being settled into our plans, relocating hotels was not a practical solution. We expected the hotel to take responsibility by offering meaningful accommodations or compensation rather than placing the burden on guests. The entire situation was handled very poorly.

Good location and view. Has a shuttle van to other Cambridge areas. Short walk over to Boston University. Restaurant food is not edible. Eat elsewhere.
-
Early check in not available and you have to pay to park

This hotel was very unkind to me because i do not look like their usual clientele. I will never go back there again.
