Courtyard by Marriott Boston-Cambridge

Quiet hotel with large rooms and nice staff. Good value for a short visit. It is about 25 min walk from MIT or Harvard campus and by a small park next to the river. Far away from Metro Red Line and every other type of public transport (20 min from Central station). The food in the restaurant was terrible with unfriendly staff. The Wi-Fi requires an account by Marriot and I couldn’t register with their system for some reason so I had to relay on very slow public network instead.

Air conditioner was right beside one of the queen beds and hard to stop it from blowing right on you. Breakfast not good, especially for the price.

Every thing was good. Breakfast was ok for the price.

The lobby and room were both very clean. I travel a lot for work and did feel like this room was on the cleaner side of what I've seen during my travels around the US/Canada. The staff were also really nice. I appreciated that they let me check in early when I asked to just drop my bags early and they allowed me to store my luggage the last day when I had to leave for work meetings. The one downside is there was a strange noise that I kept hearing in my room. I still don't know what it was. I did call the front desk during day two see if there was maybe something below my room that might be causing it but the lady I spoke to (who was very nice) did not know what was causing it. She did offer to bring up ear plugs which was very nice. But overall I was really happy with the hotel and would be willing to stay again.

My stay at Marriott Boston-Cambridge was amazing! The staff was extremely helpful in accommodating me with the wait on a room and keeping me updated on availability. My stay was very quiet and comfortable and would love to visit again

Friendly staff. And the location Rooms are very small, bathroom tub had plumbing issues, no ventilation in the bathroom, very old curtains, ripped.

Staff are very polite and helpful. We got a river view room. Very nice. Love the idea of breakfast coupon. Many options. Breakfast for free but not for waste:)

Clean room, parking you have to pay but that’s standard for Cambridge, got a breakfast voucher which was nice, otherwise not worth the price

Location, close to MIT and BU A basic hotel, looks a bit old, rooms are average. Doesn’t match with Hyatt Regency hotels I stayed elsewhere in the world
