Hotel Veritas

Clean, well-run, perfectly located hotel for visiting Cambridge/ Harvard. The staff were all friendly and helpful - we especially appreciated the easy valet parking available 24/7, since we arrived after a long drive at 1am. The king room was a bit small but comfortable. The shower was great. The sink was in the bedroom, not the bathroom, but this worked for us since we were traveling as a couple. No breakfast, but many excellent options nearby.

Staff was super helpful, we were Loving my daughter in for graduate school, they helped us with some logistics. Also the staff held a valuable for me till my daughter could come and get it so we could make our flight home. She retrieved the valuable I can not express how much I appreciate the trustworthiness of the staff and them going above and beyond.

Hotel Veritas has several things going for it: It's a great location if you are visiting Harvard for business or want the be a tourist in Cambridge. It's located just outside of Harvard Square on Mass Ave. towards Central Square, Rooms are extremely clean, modern and bright. Air conditioning and hot water are plentiful and there is a small patio where you can sit and enjoy the free coffee and tea provided in the lobby. However, for me the negatives are more significant. The regular sized rooms are tiny. Basically you just have room to walk around the bed. No chair or desk, so if you want to work you have to sit on the bed and hold your computer in your lap. WIFI was slow and inconsistent. Some of the desk staff are very helpful and friendly, others are not, so your experience will depend on who is working. My ground floor room had loud noise and vibration from the subway trains under Mass Ave and some noise from the hotel elevator. That kind of noise isn't something that ear-plugs help with, and the subway runs till very late and starts very early so, at minimum, if noise bothers you, stay in a room on a high floor.

Had a lovely stay last week for my HBS reunion. Absolutely love the atmosphere and property. Such an oasis as compared to the hustle and bustle - more like chaos! - last week in Boston. Went to another hotel for some reunion activities and it totally felt like a circus. So relieved to come back to this beautiful and calm oasis to chill and relax. Proximity to Harvard Square is unbeatable. Common area and room well maintained and tastefully appointed.

Privacy and absence of noice I think for the value it is overprised

This is nice if expensive boutique hotel minutes from Harvard Square with underground parking. Our room was comfortable and luxurious. There is free excellent pod coffee (not Keurig) in the lobby and they will valet your car in and out of the garage which is a good idea given then narrow spiral driveway. The location is 5 minutes from Harvard Yard and close to many restaurants. Great for a Harvard reunion.

Super modern and clean room and bathroom. Nice coffee service downstairs. A bit expensive for the limited facilities and small room.

Staff is beyond wonderful - always accommodating, friendly and professional. Location is central to all things Cambridge. 1000% recommend

Property was in Harvard square area with a lot of shops and restaurants near by. Hotel was clean and staff was professional. The hotel offers free water and coffee. It was a great overnight stay.

Great stay! Love this boutique hotel. Only con is it is a bit noisy overnight even with a sound machine. But I would definitely stay here again! Housekeeping is great, the hotel is beautiful and love the amenities (coffee, tea etc). Staff is wonderful. Very professional. Great location.

Easy to walk to Harvard and shops nearby. A bit pricey but worth it!!

lovely hotel. it's small so there was a lot of noise between the neighboring rooms, elevators, cleaning staff, etc.

The Hotel Veritas offers valet parking, spotless rooms and a very helpful staff. Its best attribute is its location within walking distance of Harvard Square. We loved it.
