Irving House At Harvard

Nice breakfast, kept well stocked throughout the breakfast hours. Even though only a few blocks from lots of Harvard buildings, this was just far enough away and on a side street so that it was quiet. Very close to subway, so it was easy to go into Boston when I wanted to. Bed linens clean but old - lots of pilling, so not very comfortable. The mattress was fine (and I don't usually sleep well). Water stain on bathroom ceiling.

Noisy - creaking floors Great quaint lovey & cozy. Looks like an old apartment/complex. Each floor has 2 bathroom. A One half one & a shower one. Enjoyed the mini egg quiches.

Cool historic building; very clean; right next to Harvard campus and a short walk to Harvard square. The breakfast was a little mid, but overall I would definitely stay here again.

I’d say this is a cross between a Hostel and. B & B. It was quiet, clean, and quaint. Nice area with a great bakery down the street

The staff are friendly and the location is umbeatable The rooms are very small. I could hardly move around.

The B&B has a lot of character. I would gladly stay there again, given the opportunity. The breakfast serving area was well organized, the dining area was nice, and the food was good. The coffee was good, too. I liked the complimentary coffee and tea and cookies available throughout the day across from the front desk. There are convenient bus stops nearby. Oh, it was great to have two community refrigerators available. The daily newspapers for sharing were also nice. I can't think of anything.
