Days Inn by Wyndham Carlsbad

They are remodeling, but rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and accommodating, is pet friendly and they got good security. We will be back!!

The property was located where we needed to be. What we didn't like was our room smelled of smoke. It was lacking all the amenties promised on the website. We had no coffee maker, no Ironing board and no table or chairs to sit in. We had hangers and two hooks to hang our clothes no cloest or suitcase table. The housekeeping staff was helpful and did what they could do, but the overall experince was poor.

The staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was surprisingly good.

The room was nicely updated and very clean. The people who clean the rooms did an excellent job and the check-in staff was helpful and friendly. The outside is a bit deceiving because it looks like they’re in the middle of painting BUT the rooms are great! Sometimes it’s the opposite. A hotel will spend money on the grounds and lobby first but the rooms are terrible. Not in this case. I stayed here 2 nights with my husband, three kids and husky. We will come back.

NO PROBLEM WOULD RENT AGAIN

I had called a week ahead of time and asked if I could have room rooms right next-door to each other and I was told that they would arrange it for me when I got there. He told me the two rooms are gonna be separate and change the bedding for what I originally purchased and it was upstairs. He didn’t even offer me a discount or anything like that for my inconvenience. One of the rooms is 109 and the other one was 218 leaving our family far apart. You can tell the outside was being remodeled and the inside looked amazing and it was pretty clean. The breakfast was OK for a free breakfast, but the eggs were burnt and the bread was hard. Not sure if I’ll be staying here but for the rooms I might.

Property was clean. Washer, dryer, ice machine, and Wi-Fi did not work. Staff was very friendly.

The cleanliness of the room and how comfortable the bed was. Nothing bad to say, it was all positive things.

There was bugs in our room and a bug fell out of the frame into one of our heads we told staff and said they would tell maintenance pretty much brushed under rug. I didn’t get discount or anything

Indoor pool

They were fast to fix any mistakes. They made the girl is brand new, so she was still learning. So we were very understanding. It took almost an hour and a 1 to check-in. But like I said, the girl was new, and there were quite a few mistakes made.

The rooms were good. The cleaning wasn't. It took 3 days and me moving the trash to the middle of the floor to get emptied. They didn't sweep or make the bed. The only thing done was replace the 2 towels I used.

This was a quality stay at an affordable price. The rooms were clean and solid—nothing extraordinary, but more than adequate. The pool was nice—very warm, but nice. The staff was helpful and considerate. Overall, very positive experience with our stay.

The rooms are newly renovated and the beds were comfy which was a nice surprise. A little bit lacking general space in the lobby for breakfast and vending options. Overall it was great tho!
