Love the updates to this hotel and love that they are dog friendly. The pool area is lovely to relax in and the restaurant is great! Highly recommend.

Nice place to stay

They charge for parking daily ($30) as well as a resort fee (+ taxes). The showers had low water pressure and the hot tub jets were broken.

The room was clean and spacious.

Good location, retro exterior with more modernized interiors. I prepaid for my stay months ahead via booking.com. However, upon my check-in I was charged for my entire booking plus security deposit, well over $1,000. It took me an hour to figure out what had happened after calling my bank and the front desk. The woman who checked me in seemed pretty indifferent and nonchalant. Not to mention this was the evening before my Birthday. This caused a lot of anxiety and financial stress. I still have yet to see the money return to my account and check out is in a couple hours.

We stayed for 3 nights and our room was NOT cleaned once. No trash emptied, no towels picked up and replaced, no bed made. So weird. Had to call for our own towels and ask for room to be cleaned the next day. Then it wasn’t cleaned! We arrived in the evening on a Monday, and the restaurant was closed. Not helpful after a day of driving. And the location is separate from downtown Carmel. Not in the mix of the action. Not walkable. Disappointed.

We enjoyed the room and vibes. The convenient location of the inn is hard to beat. One small thing would be the movie they play by the pool can be a little loud!

Nice central location to many lovely destinations. Room temperature was hard to regulate during sleep.

Location Confusing to get around plus there’s no elevator

It's a former motel upgraded with very well done renovations. But it's still a motel. The hallways can feel creepy. They also had a hidden fee for the only available parking on the property which was $30 per night per vehicle which was not previously disclosed.

I booked my stayed last minute. It’s perfect for me I didn’t regret it. Definitely coming back.

good location within close to major highways. Close to Carmel by the Sea restaurants and shopping, as well as Monterey Bay.

The rooms were very roomy and clean. We requested adjoining rooms and they were accommodating.
