Nice interior design, Good Breakfast The noise in my room was unbearable. I stayed in Room #11. I think it must have been next to the back office, so not only was I hearing noise from the upstairs guest, but also from the back office, which went on all night. Didn't sleep a wink.

Everything about our stay here was perfect! Such a cozy and inviting place. The breakfast served each morning was delish. All their pastries are locally sourced, which gave the stay a more personal feel. The staff was the BEST! So accommodating and helpful.

Deceivingly cute. Do not be fooled by the photos. It’s a motel. It’s incredibly noisy. Zero insulation so you hear absolutely everything. You have to keep the windows open for air because there is no A/C in Carmel so you hear ALL the guest chatting and walking by all the time because everyone has to keep their windows open for air and some resorting to propping their doors open. This is a basic cheap motel with lipstick on it. All cosmetic with no improvements to the actual motel apart from cute furnishings and misleading instagram photos . Noisy fridge placed 2 feet from bed and a fan that you can’t use because it rattles. The hotel is very cute looking, tastefully decorated, has comfortable beds with decent bedding but it’s still a not suited for a good night rest and certainly not fit to be called a boutique hotel. If you’re charging $400- $700 a night we’re gonna expect more!

I liked the location of Le Petit Pali, although, parking was challenging at times due to the 2 hr parking limit. The rooms were very small, even smaller than I expected, it made for a tight squeeze and I was glad we didn't bring our dog, it would have been too small. It was a charming property, but I wouldn't stay again, not for the price. I expected a bit more for having paid over $600/night.

Breakfast was wonderful! Great friendly staff and service. Fresh delicious food! We are dairy allergic, so we appreciated the non dairy options. Everything was clean and we liked the decor. The patio was clean and inviting. We loved the location to town. We would never stay there again for a few reasons. For the price point we were disappointed in the noise!! The loud party atmosphere in the court yard, (right outside our windows) that we had to complain about all three nights was ridiculous. The room above us was very noisy. (It really sounded like they moved every piece of furniture) until 10:30. And we hated the "music" (speakers outside our windows) that was blaring from 8-8! It was not restful. We also felt it very invasive to have cookies brought into our room (with singing) even though we expressed our allergy to them.

Phenomenal stay in a beautiful setting. Amazing location close to everything Carmel has to offer.

Cute, cozy, Carmel-style boutique hotel! Friendly staff, great location in the heart of a super special unique town. About 10-15 min walk to the big beach. The hotel and the room had a retro cool throwback vibe to the 1950s/60s ... the style of phone, the moldings, the furniture. Very cool experience. Breakfast was very good and included. My only knock if I had to pick one is there isn't an elevator, and we had 3 huge bags to carry due to our 2 week trip. The bellman helped on the way up (for a nice tip of course) but I did it myself on the way down.

Basic amenities in room were non functional and staff was not helpful in correcting the problem or having someone come fix issue

Great location. Stylish yet homely quaint hotel

Cute breakfast, great locations. The rooms were quaint but well designed. Enjoyed our stay!
-
Lovely location. There were no coffee pods in the room and no late check-out plan - I was offered 15 minutes.

Everything about this hotel and our stay was great! The room was adorable and clean, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was good and service throughout was unmatched.
-
The ground floor rooms hear A LOT of foot noise from the rooms above so travelers be aware of this. We will request a top floor next time. Also, the ‘resort fee’ of $40 per day was excessive (not sure what that was really for exactly) especially considering we had to find street parking, but I guess that’s the standard in the area? Overall great experience and we would stay again for sure.

The staff was exceptional/ every single one we encountered The bed was comfortable This is not a hotel for those with trouble walking, use walkers or wheelchairs There are hills, a lot and they can make it extremely difficult to walk. And the lighting in the room was not good

Close to town, easy walk to all the restaurants, shops and beach. Cute esthetic, but you can tell it’s an older hotel that was remodeled. Walls are very thin, and not a lot of ventilation in rooms. There is a sister property down the street where they share happy hour times with. Honestly, this place definitely over sells their amenities. Happy hour was very minimal with one night being soggy croutons and only wine for purchase. They provided 2 complimentary glass bottles and then only had others for purchase for $13 and no water filter to use on property. Really a 3 star stay at best.

Very charming but a bit dark and noisy especially if you are on the ground floor. The staff is great and the location is wonderful
