Comfort Inn Carmel By The Sea

This is a wonderful little property, located just steps away from shops and restaurants. Our room was clean and well furnished with all of the amenities you could need. The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of options, including fresh waffles. This will be our choice for accommodations when we return to Carmel.

The room was clean but very small. The closet needs some updating. Overall was a good stay, very close to downtown Carmel and walkable to the beach. Not very much parking for all guests though.

The location is great, we like to walk, and it’s like starting at the beginning of a trail to the end of the strip, & then back up again. There was nothing to complain about. It was an over all great experience. I would stay at the Comfort Inn again.

It is such a cool cottage style hotel. Loved how clean the room is. The breakfast was really really good. They have and espresso machine that make such delicious coffee. The staff is all really nice. We will be back. Parking is a bit tight but we got parking with no problem.

The location is ideal close to the main street, and its restaurants and shop, and walking to the awesome Carmel beach or everywhere, it is also close to the Bruno supermarket if you want to pickup a sandwich (long line but really good) for a hike, which we did on Sunday before leaving. The staff was really nice. The room was really clean and functional. The walls are a little thin.

The parking situation was horrible, and I had to fight for a parking spot. There should be enough spaces to rooms available. I wouldn’t stay here again because parking was just too much of an inconvenience. Also online said that the front office was open 24 hours, but it was not. I was trying to get a hot coffee in the lobby at 6:00am and no one was there. Also breakfast starts at 7:30 which is super late compared to other hotels where breakfast usually starts at 6:30, so we skipped breakfast as we had to leave early. The only thing good about this hotel was the location as it was close to shops and restaurants.

It’s a really close property near to Pepe’s Vesuvio, and other restaurants. The room was clean and parking was easily accessible on the street.

The property is in need of a refresher. The parking is horrible room are very small and comparable to a motel 6 30 years ago. There are many other options in the area that are a much better choice .

I loved the location! Close and walking distance to everything we did for our stay There wasn’t AC, but fan included. That was nice. Construction/ landscaping outside our window- couldn’t really relax in room. Bed was hard

Location,location, location . (Just 2 blocks from old town). Breakfast was good ( waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, bagels, fruit and yogurt). Staff very helpful. Water in room smelled like sulphur and room had a musty smell. Bathroom small for 4 people. If stairs bother you, this could be a problem.
