We loved our stay here. Staff were super friendly, room was super trendy and comfortable. They had a bar tended in the lobby which was super awesome because we were able to take night-caps back to our room. They had a full continental breakfast, as well! Lots of ammenities and a great location with PARKING! 10/10!!

Wonderful small hotel in a prime spot in Carmel by the Sea. Rooms are small but nice. Amenities are very good and they deserve high marks for an excellent breakfast and afternoon happy hour.

The details MATTER here! Every little inconvenience you could think of, they tried to offer some solution for it. It’s a beautiful room that’s cozy, filled with Diptyque products to unwind to in the shower, Marvis toothpaste samples, and even a little Nespresso machine with both tea and coffee options. They give you cookies every night. The free breakfast in the morning is so curated and aesthetic. You’re welcomed with glass of rosé upon arrival. They even have one of those British water heating bags in case you get cold at night for the ultimate comfy sleep. The only caveat is there’s no AC to control in the room and the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors - but again, they give you ear plugs for that!! Wonderful stay, will likely stay again the next time and make it a little ritual each year.

Gorgeous rooms! Stunning property details, champagne breakfast was amazing! Cocktail on arrival also great The fire pits outside wouldn’t go on which was a shame as it was a lovely area to sit but a little too cold

The staff were great as was the breakfast, the problem was there was renovation going on at time of visit which created significant disruption to stay, however manager made concession. Also, we arrived after check in time and room was not available. Overall, very nice place to visit but check first whether any renovation is expected. Also parking quite limited and this too was worse with construction.

Staff, breakfast.. A motel feel, despite renovations. For 700/night not worth the price.

Cute little boutique hotel. Loved the amenities and the cozy vibe. Will stay there again.

Location was great. Rooms and property were clean. Above all their staff was very friendly and helpful. They packed as much into their rooms as they could. Their lobby is nice with breakfast in the mornings and a nice outside patio to sit and relax. It is a very noisy hotel, because it is an older motel redone, there is nothing they can do about the noise I assume. You can hear everyone taking outside your room, doors slamming, cars in the parking lot, people walking around upstairs and just talking in general. Also the rooms are nicely done but again they are small and there is no counter space in the bathrooms. It is Carmel and pricey.

Location Pricey

The property is really well located with great access to the town and shops. The entire space is beautifully decorated throughout. Breakfast was great - lovely fresh sourdough, Greek yoghurt, eggs, granola and pastries. Whilst initially we were allocated a ground floor room looking directly onto the car park, I was grateful to the staff member who moved us up to a 1st floor room on request. The extra touches of cookies, chocolate and water in the room were lovely and the Diptique toiletries were a nice touch. Unfortunately I felt the property was overall very overpriced. It is after all an inn on a busy road with all rooms facing out onto a car park…for almost £400 a night. There is a nice terrace for breakfast, but again looks to a car park. The windows are single glazed so there is a lot of street traffic, even on the upper floor. In the morning as well about 9:30am we had maintenance painting right outside our room window. It would be better to wait for people to check out before beginning maintenance overlooking the rooms, as they don’t have much privacy. The person at the desk when we checked out was not the most friendly when compared with many other places we have stayed.

Great location. This hotel takes you back in time - beautifully decorated. The breakfast was fantastic and the chocolate chip cookies I the evening were a nice touch. Price paid for room was too high.
-
The location is good, but this is a small motel with luxury/cute furnitures so don’t expect that much.
-
Friendly staff, great location, comfortable room, delicious morning breakfast, free parking on site, freshly baked cookies every day, luxurious toiletries Older building so was able to hear my upstairs neighbor take every squeaky step. barn style bathroom door made privacy difficult

There are some thoughtful touches. The welcome drink was nice, the nightly cookies were sweet (although they forgot them one evening), and breakfast was actually my favorite part of the experience. The breakfast felt fresh, cozy, and was one of the few moments where the hotel matched the charm it advertises. The location is convenient and close to Carmel’s main areas, which made getting around easy. But at nearly $700 a night, the value just was not there for us. At that price point, I expected something that felt special, elevated, peaceful, and memorable in a good way. Instead, I spent a lot of time wondering why we paid luxury prices for accommodations that felt motel like . The room itself was cute in photos and had some charm, but the overall experience felt underwhelming and overpriced. It gave more renovated roadside motel energy than boutique luxury retreat. I wanted to love this place because the branding and concept are adorable, but we left feeling disappointed and honestly a little ripped off given the cost. If this had been half the price, I would have been ok.

I would stay over and over! A wonderful, cozy Inn. It has a warm, and artsy European feel. Great staff and amenities!
