GM Sergio & the rest of the staff are very nice & accommodating. Excellent location easy short walk to a lot of shopping, restaurants, art galleries & beach. Like most hotels in the area, it is older but well kept. Great underground parking with an elevator. The fireplace wasn’t working but central ac & heat worked well. The 2nd floor west facing room has partial ocean views. The 1st floor has a charming little courtyard with flowers & water fountain. Would def recommend and stay there again.

Great location; spacious rooms! Very friendly staff. Quiet location too. Close walk to beach and all downtown stores and restaurants. Water pressure was a little low. But completely understand as that is one way to help reduce water waste.

Clean and location was very nice

Nice spacious room. Older buildings with no upgrades but everything was impeccably clean and the location is wonderful. If you don’t want to pay a huge amount for a one night stay I would suggest staying at this place….oh and parking is included! It definitely needs a few updates but otherwise it’s good.

Amazing room, great service

Great location, large room, nice balcony, fridge in room. Needs updating, a bit old and tired, very weak water pressure in shower.

The location was fabulous as it was right in town. Our room had a fireplace and a bit of a water view. It was a bit tough getting around the hotel. Various levels and entrances.

Elevator was questionable with expired Licence

Everything was clean, nice location, roomie everything a person needs to be content The beds were super hard. There was no modern phone plugs. Lotta old technology and old furniture.

Last minute score!

The location is centralized and walking distance to several shops, restaurants and coffee shops. The staff provided water bottles which was a nice touch and a map to Carmel and we got to check in sooner which is a huge plus when traveling with children. The easy access to parking was wonderful. The property has an antique charms, nice landscaping and clean. The first room had ocean view from far distance, but much smaller than advertised but perfect for a couple with a fire place. The place is dated and still provide regular set of keys, but we did not mind. Would recommend the bathrooms to be updated.

Good location and clean

We surprisingly enjoyed the carpet that lined the walkways outside of the rooms and the easy-to-use room keys. Also that the door locked by itself on our way out. (I blurred out my friend in the second photo.) The frills on the towels & paper products was a very pleasant detail. Very intentional. We noticed that no “fitted sheet” was used on one of our two queen beds, just two “flat sheets.” Which was okay for the person sleeping in it, but that probably would have bugged me. Also I think one of the sliding closet doors was jammed upon our arrival.

Very clean 3.5 star hotel...not fancy but you got all the essentials & especially a great convenient location...you could even catch a sunset standing on the 2nd floor landing. Very clean and a good newer bed in a spacious room with a fireplace. Definitely a good value! Staff was very courteous and accomodating! Love the huge oak framing the front! A little oldish and worn in parts but if you just want convenience and value it hit the mark!
