Location Everything as expected

We enjoyed our four night stay. The hotel is in a great location right in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea. Underground parking is included at no charge so all you have to do is park once and then it's a short walk to Ocean Avenue and all the great shops, restaurants, wine tasting rooms and galleries. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The hotel staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Like most hotels in Carmel the property is older with some deferred maintenance but it is a clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay.

I was upgraded to a second floor king room because the queen room was on the first floor and didn’t have AC and I didn’t want to sleep with the windows open. The king sized room was large, clean, comfortable and had a nice little balcony with sliding glass doors. The room had bathrobes, an iron and blow dryer, a small fan and the bare necessity of toiletries (shampoo, bar soap and lotion), and a coffee maker and mini fridge. The gas fireplaces were not functional. The parking is excellent underground dedicated parking. The bed was quite comfortable. The location is excellent. Right in downtown Carmel so everything is walkable.

Location and free car park We choose property for the internet, the pool and the free car park. Car park was great but the pool is more like a big jacuzzi. You can’t swim in it as it is tiny and people can see you from the street. The internet connection was so weak that it was non existent. Only one spot was available by the sink in the bathroom my children fought for as only one person could get connection.

The location was great! Having the dedicated parking garage for the hotel visitors is so convenient since we were right in the middle of town. It made it so easy to walk around. The staff was great! They were super helpful in checking us in and out.

Location was excellent. Bed was large and comfortable. Fireplace was out of service. Thermostat didn’t work and the room was cold. Shower was old and very low pressure. For the high price I paid, I expected much better.

GM Sergio & the rest of the staff are very nice & accommodating. Excellent location easy short walk to a lot of shopping, restaurants, art galleries & beach. Like most hotels in the area, it is older but well kept. Great underground parking with an elevator. The fireplace wasn’t working but central ac & heat worked well. The 2nd floor west facing room has partial ocean views. The 1st floor has a charming little courtyard with flowers & water fountain. Would def recommend and stay there again.

Great location; spacious rooms! Very friendly staff. Quiet location too. Close walk to beach and all downtown stores and restaurants. Water pressure was a little low. But completely understand as that is one way to help reduce water waste.
