Carmel Beach Hotel

Great location near the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will return to this property in the future.

Location is wonderful and food was good for breakfast

The rooms were gorgeous and clean. They have a shuttle that will take you to downtown Carmel and the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the beach. Staff were friendly and readily available. We didn’t use much of the other amenities but they offer breakfast that they can bring to your room. They brought us cookies every evening and stripped the bed. The rooms had a coffee maker and an electric kettle. Plenty of towels and toilet paper. They have onsite parking but there weren’t too many spots that we saw. We never really had an issue finding parking but the lots were small.

All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Great overall experience. We will definitely be back.

The cost of a cocktail or glass of wine was exorbitant. 1 glass of red wine was $35.00. That should be the cost of a bottle.

Stayed here traveling highway 1 from Los Angeles. Stayed at Carmel beach hotel. We were offered breakfast at a cost but we decided to explore the local restaurants in the area. 5 min walk from the beach. Super clean. Room was excellent. Bathroom was beautiful. Over all great hotel to stay at. We didn’t use any amenities they offered just the parking on the property but the parking is first come first serve. Staff was great they keep the property clean and are very welcoming. They offered a shuttle to downtown Carmel but from a certain time. Over all great place to stay for a quiet relaxing place.

We did have a little snafu with check-in staff we provided Hillary with our phone number and they were supposed to have texted us when our room was ready and they forgot. The one amazing aspect of this hotel is they do have a chauffeur driver that will take you into downtown and pick you up. No need to drive your car. Other than the snafu we had an amazing time.

Great location by the beach if you like walking to town (we do), clean room, nice little balcony with partially obstructed ocean views and sounds. Property is located in a residential area, is nicely landscaped and well maintained. We did not have a challenge parking our car because we left it in the space the entire time and walked everywhere. They do offer a car service but we did not use it. This is a boutique hotel, not a resort, so do not expect impressive service or amenities. We found it to be just what we were looking for.

Great Location, walkable to the beach and shops.

Beautiful, clean room! They left fresh cookies everyday on our nightstand after cleaning our room. Free bikes to ride around. It is a bit of a walk to town, but super close to the beach - only a 5 minute walk. However, our one complaint was not enough parking for guests at hotel and the water pressure out of shower and sink was terrible! The bathroom was gorgeous though.

Room 16 was nice. Spacious, view of the ocean, fireplace, large sitting area, large bathroom, cookies at night, coffee machine, small fridge. Not sure why they have an electric t-kettle but no teabags.

I was very disappointed with this stay. My room was located above or next to the hotel’s commercial kitchen, and I was woken up around 6:00 a.m. by loud operational noise. Staff later acknowledged they should have disclosed the room’s location before check-in, but they didn’t. Had I known, I would have requested a different room. The lack of transparency significantly impacted my stay and made it difficult to get adequate rest. I expected much better communication and guest consideration.

Short walk to the beach and nearby shops. Lovely place to stay!

They advertise a shuttle but it has very limited hours to get you to and from downtown. Otherwise it was a great stay and great hotel. Perfect location!

We came on a weekend getaway and had a lovely time. Staff was attentive, and rooms were immaculate.

Carmel Beach Hotel was an amazing experience. The property is just beautiful, comfortable, well located, and the staff are exemplary!! The beach is steps away and perfect for morning or evening walking. The late afternoon snacks were really special. We loved the intimate lobby bar area. And I want to offer a special "thank you" to Anna for making our stay perfect.

Great Hotel! Room was a little small, but, was very well laid out and nice. Property was very clean and well laid out. The breakfast was good and service was great.
