Carmel Beach Hotel

Room 16 was nice. Spacious, view of the ocean, fireplace, large sitting area, large bathroom, cookies at night, coffee machine, small fridge. Not sure why they have an electric t-kettle but no teabags.

I was very disappointed with this stay. My room was located above or next to the hotel’s commercial kitchen, and I was woken up around 6:00 a.m. by loud operational noise. Staff later acknowledged they should have disclosed the room’s location before check-in, but they didn’t. Had I known, I would have requested a different room. The lack of transparency significantly impacted my stay and made it difficult to get adequate rest. I expected much better communication and guest consideration.

Short walk to the beach and nearby shops. Lovely place to stay!

They advertise a shuttle but it has very limited hours to get you to and from downtown. Otherwise it was a great stay and great hotel. Perfect location!

We came on a weekend getaway and had a lovely time. Staff was attentive, and rooms were immaculate.

Carmel Beach Hotel was an amazing experience. The property is just beautiful, comfortable, well located, and the staff are exemplary!! The beach is steps away and perfect for morning or evening walking. The late afternoon snacks were really special. We loved the intimate lobby bar area. And I want to offer a special "thank you" to Anna for making our stay perfect.

Great Hotel! Room was a little small, but, was very well laid out and nice. Property was very clean and well laid out. The breakfast was good and service was great.

A beautiful property close to Carmel by the Sea beach. Room service breakfast was a very nice feature as it would have been time consuming to go into town in search of breakfast. Sunset on the beach was beautiful after a nice dinner in town made easier by a shuttle service into town. Very nice accommodations. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel and staff were perfect. the location is nestled in a neighborhood and 1 minute walking to the beach. We opened our windows at night to hear the waves. Parking is limited. But parking is limited everywhere in Carmel.

Very well designed room. Pity only bathroom windows were operable.

The property was beautifully maintained, attention to detail, quiet, peaceful, and an easy walk to the beach and to town.

Good location. Close to the beach but also walking distance to town. Not very many amenities and parking limited by hotel.

The Carmel Beach Hotel was a 10/10 for us!! The property was beautiful, the service was amazing, and the location was perfect for our trip. We did a lot of looking online before we booked here and so glad we did. My wife said it was one of her best hotel experiences to date, trust me she is a tough critic! Would definitely book again

Friendly and efficient, property very good

Very close to the beach. Views of the ocean from the balcony. Very nice amenities such as their own toiletries which were lovely. Very comfortable stand alone tub with bath salts, nepresso machine and 4 pods each day, cookies at turndown, comfy bed. Also loved its in the residential area with beautiful properties all around but also a short walk to shopping and eating. Nothing

Big bathroom but the sleeping area is a bit small.

The place is immaculate everywhere. The staff was wonderful and friendly. We love that it is small and quaint, great location. The only 2 downsides were that 1.The parking wasn't great. It wasn't easy to find a spot at times, and 2. The shower water pressure wasn't good, but I believe that may be a problem everywhere in Carmel. Overall, I highly recommend!

This place is like paradise. Quiet, clean relaxing. Didn’t want to leave. Staff was like family. Perfect location. 30 second walk to the beach. Close to ocean ave but far enough away to be out of the noise and traffic.

Very clean with lovely amenities including an elaborate snack tray & champagne for our anniversary. Staff is friendly & helpful. We have stayed in many inns, b&bs & hotels in the Carmel area over the years. This one is a keeper. We will be back in the fall for our birthdays.😊
