They held our luggage for us too when we had to check out but weren't being picked up to go to the airport for several hours, so we were able to continue walking around town without lugging a bunch of stuff. When we had an unfortunate and stressful mishap and misplaced our phone with our plane tickets somewhere in town, the staff were helpful, patient, and accommodating, allowing us to use their devices to help locate it. As I said, would highly recommend!

Location Difficult for parking the car

El hotel es hermoso, no puede estar mejor ubicado, nos encanto, lo único que podría ser una queja es que una mala información en la recepción del hotel nos costo una multa por estacionar toda la noche en un lugar que no estaba permitido. El desayuno tampoco estuvo muy bien, pero eso no impediría que vuelva.

So quaint and adorable little hotel right on the main strip. I didn’t have to drive anywhere because the hotel had parking and every restaurant I wanted to go to was within walking distance. It’s so close to the beach so being able to visit all my favorite places was super convenient. My room was adorable and super clean! Very up to date, I was pleasantly surprised. I would stay here the next time I come to Carmel!

Great location, nice outside appearance with beautiful flowers. Room was satisfactory with a nice size up to date bathroom. I was in a downstairs room and the noise level was not good, my upstairs neighbors were loud and I could hear them into the late evening. Limited, hard to use WIFI. Parking was limited, but we never had a problem. Breakfast is in a very small, crowded room. Food is very basic but, enough to start your day. It would be nice if there were outside tables. Overall, the price was very fair for Carmel and the location is perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

I loved the location, comfortable mattress and pillows! The grounds were beautiful with manicured flowers and plants throughout the property. Loved the heated pool located in a quiet, lovely courtyard. The staff couldn't do enough for us and that my friends is something special not every property cares about. I can't say enough about The Normandy Inn and plan on returning soon. This property is just blocks from the beach and has wonderful shopping and dining nearby! Nothing to list!

Perfect for a week in Carmel

Very clean and well maintained property, very helpful staff. We failed to take advantage of the daily continental breakfast and the heated pool. Parking is limited, but to be expected. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location and easy walking distance to beach and shops. We stayed in the cottage nearest Ocean Ave - you could hear every word of sidewalk traffic and all of the roadside traffic. It did quiet down overnight though.
