The building is old and neither the sink nor tub had a drain plug.

Top bed cover slips off to the floor. Tv was actually fallng out of the frame. The hotel is dated and has carpeted rooms and hallways. I would not stay again.

The bathroom was in poor condition. The door handles were broken, and the air conditioning unit was unable to cool the room. Breakfast was mediocre, no egg or any other protein.

The hotel enjoys a prime location in the heart of Carson City, just about 20 minutes from Lake Tahoe. The rooms are clean, tidy, and cozy, and the breakfast is hearty. Highly recommended! It would be perfect if there were clothes hangers.

We are staying at Super 8 and found it to be clean, a friendly staff and the cost to be reasonable.

Decent location with easy parking and access. Breakfast was continental: some breads, cold cereal and yogurt. Coffee and juice. Strong wifi (183D/157U), VPN recommended. I'd stay again. In-room coffee not replenished from a single use for the three night stay. Still, coffee in the breakfast area was available beginning at 0600.

When we arrived we were charge an additional $100 security fee. I didn't think it was a big deal until we were checking out and I requested an invoice or receipt for our stay. I was informed that because we had booked through a 3rd party (Hotels.com) that they could not provide one. I was told I would have to get it from the booking agent. When I asked about returning our $100 security deposit I was told it would take about 5 business days before it would be returned to our credit card balance. These are unnecessary inconveniences, and not practices I appreciate so, I probably won't use Super 8 or Hotels.com again.

Room seemed clean and included a coffee maker and mini fridge. Shower water was nice and hot. Breakfast was lacking variety, and the room was quite small. The A/C in the room didn’t work, but it was fine since the room temperature was low from the weather. The shower water lines were mixed (hot water on the cold side, cold water on the hot side), which also wasn’t a huge deal.

- location was good, loads of shops & restaurants around. - the facilities are slightly outdated, but it’s a budget friendly hotel so please bare that in mind. - only thing was that the curtains had loads of cigarette burns on them. It didn’t look so great.

It was clean, quiet and easy to find. Bed was a little uncomfortable, but it was okay.

for the price, room was good and sufficient had soap and shampoo included, breakfast was very basic just okay, parking is free but on holiday weekend it may get full, front desk staff very friendly would likely stay again
