Hardman House Inn & Suites

I stayed in the same room over a month ago & the mold in the shower was still there, a good scrub would take it away, they had a dirty wash cloth hanging in the shower. If they paid attention to detail they would be good or get a new cleaning crew. they had no air conditioning it was broken. The staff wasn’t very helpful, they were giving fans & the guy at the front desk wanted me to carry the fan to my room.

i only needed to stay one night but check in was easy, place was quite even though its located near what seems to be a busy street and it was located near lots of things. The big issue was that the A/C was down. they were very apologetic and had a pair of fans already going in the room when i got there and they were extending a discounted rate to the guest because of the issue. other than that It was a nice stay. Its nothing extravagant, its an older hotel but if you just need some sleeping quarters, this will do.

The temperature was 83-88 degrees with no breeze. Couldn’t sleep. Asked front desk in the morning when the a/c was going to be serviced and said not until Monday. We checked out that morning. The breakfast was oj, oranges, apples, yogurt, cereal, and milk. There were three coffee urns but no coffee in them. Not a good start for the morning. Would not recommend. We checked into the Days Inn

The property itself was very nice looking from the outside and staff were very sweet. Check in and check out both took less than 5 minutes total The ac was out during my stay and my room was 82° overnight. The floors slightly shook as well and it was overall just a bit rundown

The air conditioning was not working in the rooms for the 2 nights we were there. It was way too hot. We did get some money compensation for the 2nd night. The carpet in the room was dirty and needs new carpet. There was no decent blinds or curtains on the windows.

Room was disgusting… I would leave a negative review if I could. Had to change our own sheets because the sheets had hair, food and what looked like boogers on them. Floor was absolutely gross. Like no one had cleaned it. The water went from hot to cold the whole 10 minute shower because I couldn’t handle it anymore. They don’t have a breakfast. It was Cheerios milk juice and coffee. The ac didn’t work. It wouldn’t turn on. When asked they said it was working. Everything old and dated which is fine. I was more worried about how filthy it was. The front desk was closed for the persons break… got there at 7:52 and wasn’t helped until 8:47. I had two young kids with me and this is the worst place I’ve ever stayed! Horrible!

Hotel vibe did not feel the safest either. Breakfast: Not sure if its because we went down at 830(breakfast done by 9) but there was no milk for cereal(carafe was empty), no cream at all for coffee, poor quality of fruits; oranges were sour and the one banana there was green. Room with 2 queens were little over 100$ a night so that was good. Everywhere else in reno and surrounding areas were $300 plus a night. Im just used to staying at marriotts. Maybe If i didnt come with my kids probably wouldnt have cared so much.

Quick and easy check-in. Friendly staff. Clean and inviting lobby area to relax or read a book. Metal picnic tables outside to enjoybthe fresh air.

The hotel is very dated and is due for renovation. The air conditioning was out and the room was supplied with a fan that wasn’t efficient enough to keep the room cool. We left at 2am because it was too hot in the room. Thankfully we were only a hour away. The location of this hotel is great too bad it needs so much work.

I need to speak to someone about getting a full refund this was the worst stay ever AC did not work and it made it impossible to even lay down we slept in the car to have the AC on

Great location, nice staff, could use a bit of an upgrade, but it was a pretty comfortable stay. Housekeeping didn’t come in even though I had the placard on my door for them to do so, that was a disappointment but all in all it was fine. I would stay here again.

Terrible stay. I booked a specific room, and upon checking in and going to my room, I was not given the room I booked. I attempted to notify the gentleman at the front desk, just to be told I was wrong (which I wasn't, I had photos to prove the difference in the room types) and was made to feel like he was basically telling me "too damn bad". I asked to speak to the manager on site, and was told there wasn't a manager available on the weekends, the manager was only available on Wednesdays and I was not provided a name or contact phone number. The "breakfast" was terrible. There was no milk and cereal. There was never any coffee and when you asked for them to replenish it, he told me that he didn't have time to do that, but yet, he was sitting behind the desk on his phone. I was very disappointed and will never stay at this property again.

Needs a little more TLC with the carpets. Breakfast was just Toast and fruits. Could’ve stayed at another hotel in town for the same price with a pool. Overall, it was just okay…

It is a very quiet hotel. The bed was new and comfy. The room was clean and the bathroom was updated. It is an old hotel with low ceilings in the hall and in need of new hall carpet. It is a family owned and operated property which they are working on renovating. I don’t think that is a negative, just what it is. Very pleasant place to stay and in a great location in Carson City.

Rooms and motel are old with no updating. Smell similar to old smoke from very old carpets. Owners must get serious and do a complete remodel makeover. Too bad, great location going to waste.

Clean room

So we got there at 330 to check-in which was supposed to be possible @ 3pm. We were told our room wasn't available and it "would be some time." There was nothing but an apology for their lack of holding up their end of the service contract that was made at the time of the reservation (check-in time) Granted this was the final weekend of Hot August Nights and apparently they only had 1 housekeeper for what is likely their busiest weekend of the year. We had just driven 3 hours and wanted to just lay down and relax, and use a bathroom and was denied both. We decided to grab lunch and checked and the room was finally ready around 5pm. We checked in and went to our room. Let me just say don't look up as the vents are disgusting. The phone was sticky (eewwwww) which I have no idea why. Oh, if your not 5ft 2in don't expect to shower as the shower head is ridiculously low. We parked in the underground originally but there was just water running from the ceiling. Ick. Also, maybe the fire marshall needs a call because the plug the ice maker is plugged into shows obvious burn marks. I won't get into the fact the toilet was like sitting on the ground and the bed was incredibly soft and offered no support. I had to just keep telling my wife "there's a reason the hotel was cheap." Their so called Continental breakfast was next to nothing.... I'd only recommend staying here if your broke.

It was excellent. The car was safe.
