The beds were very comfortable.

The room was very clean, thee staff very friendly and the parking was easy to maneuver either outside or the parking under the building. For a senior it was real helpful having luggage carts.

Carpet truly needs replacement. Outside of the hotel needs some updates too..

This hotel was a last minute place. We were coming from another place during our vacation. I really enjoyed the location. There’s a smiths within walking distance and also not far from some attractions. It’s an older hotel so don’t expect brand new ya know. But we were staying in an air B&B previously and this hotel was a breath of fresh air compared to that. Only there for 2 nights but I would recommend it. It offered breakfast however we didn’t eat it as it is your absolute basic stuff. Cereal, oatmeal, just really small but suppose it would do the trick if you needed something quick. They have a very small underground parking garage that I would honestly avoid if you had a bigger vehicle. Thought I wasn’t gonna be able to get out for a minute lol But honestly other than that I would totally stay again and would recommend it if it’s just for a night or two and you plan to not spend much time at the hotel.

They were doing minor upgrade to outside of bldg. That did not impact their wonderful hospitality. Staff was great. The entire experience was way better than I expected. If you are not to fussy about it being the latest and greatest .......highly recommend it.

Room 209, room heater didn’t work, phone didn’t work and hot water was not available and multiple issues in the room and staff was not that helpful to help us with inconvenience. Other room 210 was ok

Shortly after midnight we were awakened by water pouring down from the light fixture in the ceiling in the bathroom. This was caused from the room above us over flowing the water from the bath tub. We couldn’t reach the front desk when dialing zero as it rang a busy signal. We had to go downstairs to the front desk to report this. The clerk brought us several towels to put on the floor as it was covered with water. Soon after, the water stopped leaking and we eventually went back to sleep.

Was not at all like shown in photos. Very unclean and did not even give out room service

Hotel was under rework but great for the price

My group was stranded in Reno due to engine trouble with one of our motorcycles.

The hallways were dirty and the rooms smelt.

Clean room quiet nice place to stay. If you want a quiet hotel room away from the crowd stay here. The heat lamp in the bathroom was cool. Guy at the front desk was cool. Thanks for letting us borrow a charging cube for my son’s phone. Well stay again if we need to stay in Carson city

Very dirty ceilings with mold or water stains and multiple floor stains and hard and stiff beds and they had weird bathrooms. It has really low ceilings.
-
The desk clerk was helpful and nice but that’s about all the good the hotel had to offer. From the outside it looks nice but steeping inside you can instantly tell it run down and in need of maintenance and repairs, my room was dirty and smelled musty. I noticed there were multiple water damage marks on the ceiling and the carpets were disguising.

Otherwise the room was ok and the bed was fine. Bathroom fan was horrendously loud. Don’t plan on breakfast - the “spread” was laughable. Location is great, actually. Thought we were getting a deal at $147 but definitely not worth that.

Local family trying to restore the hotel to its historic grandeur. Air conditioning was broken in the first night's room. They changed our room for the second night.
