It was easy to find because of the highly placed sign.

Lobby casino and bathrooms were very clean. I was on the fifth floor as well as my sister's and our first night we had no hot water. My rooms microwave didn't work, it did get swapped out the second day but the repair man left the broken one in the room.

The rooms were nice looking No hot water just luke warm told the front desk both days they said it was fixed and was not the toilet was to close to shower you had to squeeze between the toilet and show to turn it on, the balcony was a joke you could not even put a chair out the which we paid extra for a balcony room the doors just slam shut the coffee was gross walls are thin you literally hear everything in the next room plumbing was a mess, and this all in the newly renovated rooms. We we went to get some coffee in the casino thought it was self serve due to no signs the guy made a scene and said he could kick us out cause that's called stealing, we apologized but he was so rude

The staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and updated. Entire property was clean and nuce

Great location, excellent room on the 5th floor! Everything seemed fresh & new after the recent remodel. Fun in the casino downstairs, great drinks. Restaurant was a bit lacking for breakfast, they were “slammed”, probably due to a lack of other options in the area. Food came out cold, a bit slow but friendly service. She was trying! Free, secure parking out front - I wasn’t worried about my bike in the back of the truck. Will definitely return at some point!👍

Location No room service

Hands down, the place to stay when in Carson City. Absolutely Best Experience. We were able to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms, we were impressed and very happy during our stay.! Will be returning in Summer!

We will stay there again.

Nice new rooms but several issues with remodeling including water temps. Very friendly and helpful staff. Never a fan of smoking in main floor casino but undetectable in hotel room.
-
I had a newly renovated room that was spotless and comfortable as well as quiet.
-
the room was modern and clean. the casino was below the rooms which was very convenient. the restaurant inside the casino has delicious food (wagyu beef) and friendly staff

They canceled my reservation without explanation

The location and parking were excellent. The hotel is under major renovation and at about 50%, so it’s a loud at times, dusty, and limited space.
-
The Federal is easy to access, central to Carson City downtown, has upgraded rooms with excellent staff!
-
Location and the renovation completed is excellent. Shower water takes a very long time to get warm.

Everything was excellent, no complaints at all. This hotel is actually one of the best’s I’ve stayed in Carson City 😌

I thought everything was really nice. One of the things that I absolutely noticed and it was done on purpose. I’m sure because you have absolutely no seating for people at all outside the pool area. You’ve got a huge area back there and nowhere to sit down have a cup of coffee enjoy besides being having to go to the pool or not getting your choice to sit down outside and second was you guys close down the beach at 7 o’clock and wouldn’t allow people to sit down there, which is ridiculous because part of the whole ambience is being able to sit on the beach in the evening to sit outside in the evening, so I was very disappointed in that because I’m an outdoor person and I prefer not to be in the smoky building

The odor of cigarette smoke was terrible lobby and hallway leading to room. I understand this is a smoking allowed casino but other casinos we have stayed in in Reno and elsewhere in Nevada that allow smoking don’t smell this bad. Need to improve the ventilation or something.
