Very nice room, clean and remodeled.

Smell like cigarettes. Door wouldn’t fully lock

The hotel rooms are updated and very nice. We had a great stays. The hotel side of the property is quiet, and they have a nice pool and workout room that we enjoyed. Lots of parking (free). And breakfast was nice. They give you a voucher for the restaurant, and you have 4 options to choose from. The only thing we didn't like was the smoke in the casino. It is super strong, and you can smell the smoke all the way into the hotel. So we were grateful they put us on the third floor. We couldn't smell any smoke at all on the third floor. The casino is also practically empty in the morning, so you don't have to worry about smoke at breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay here. Breakfast was really nice! Room was clean and spacious. They have all required amenities. Great hotel!

The room was clean and comfortable. I was quite happy with my stay.

Every time I asked for an extra pillow I was told no. On the fourth day of asking I was granted one so finally 4 pillows on a king bed. When I asked when house keeping would be by “the house keeping manager is well aware your room needs to be cleaned and they will be by” I only wanted to know so I could try to make sure I was out of the room so I wouldn’t bother them. It is a casino so if you want a clean non smoking room to sleep in, don’t book here. Breakfast is a joke on the weekends unless you arrive at 6 am when they open. I was able to use the free breakfast two times with my six day stay. Hallway was very noisy so don’t stay anywhere near elevators. The staff liked to talk and gather right outside which made it hard to recover and sleep.

The staff was great. The food at The Grill was very good. Casino was good sized with a variety of games. Parking was no issue. Our suite was not much more than a regular room so we booked that instead. It was huge! Although it said on the door it was a non smoking room it clearly had a smoky smell to it. The whole property was very smoky, otherwise it would’ve been 5 stars.

We stayed in a non-smoking twin queen-bed room and the whole hotel and room smelled of smoking. It was terribly difficult to adjust to the smell. The lady at reception for the breakfast was obnoxiously rude and insulting. She asked us to wait for 20 mins but the wait time kept increasing and when it was 30mins I went to politely ask for actual time she rudely told that she used her brain. She is one main reason I will never stay at this property unless I am assured I wont see her again there. The bowling alley is a nice value for money and kids had a great time. The gaming arcade is a sham scam though and there is no one attending to it and feels like they are fooling people. Overall good property if they can eliminate that pungent smell and obnoxious people who spoil people’s experience.

There’s one thing that I would like to see, would be to do something about all the yellow jackets in the parking lot

Staff is good But kitchen staff not good I didn’t feel good Break fast is good but if you are vegetarian they have only oats and toast that’s it Casino is okay peaceful This hotal is peaceful for senior citizen is comfortable here

We had a one night stay while traveling. The property and our room were clean. We ate at the onsite restaurant which was adequate for a couple of weary travelers. The bed and pillows left a lot to be desired and we did not sleep well. The shower had good water pressure and the towels were nice (for hotel towels). The air filtration system in the casino needs serious upgrading - the cigarette smoke was suffocating. The stay was a mixed bag. Depending on what your needs are, it could be good or ....not....

We usually stay at the Gold Dust when visiting Carson City but it has been a few years since and we were so delighted on how they remodeled the hotel area and rooms. Staff very nice and helpful. Fun casino and bowling alley. I recommend this establishment

I went there for a work trip. Even though the Lobbi smelled like tobacco due to the casino, my room was on the 3rd floors and it wouldn't smell there at all. The room was clean and my bed was confortable. Breakfast was included and it was good. Our server's were very nice too. After reading other complaints I was afraid of what I was going to find, but honestly I had no issues. It was a great experience.

we were very happy with our stay. very comfy beds and the pool area is nice.

Most all of the staff in this facility was super friendly with the exception of a cocktail waitress who saw me gambling with my husband and sister, but balked when we asked for water, stating, "If you're not all gambling, I have to charge you". (Huh? She could see that we were!) That said, we are looking forward to returning again. Thanks for a great week, Gold Dust!

This great value but it smelled like smoke when you initially walk in to the main hallways.

The room is my biggest complaint it was decent the first night but the second night we ordered in had pizza once we were done we cleaned up set our boxes on the counter then ants appeared we were on the second floor even after taking out our trash they wouldn’t go away made me feel gross. restaurant was great staff was kind and helpful and apologetic when busy which was all 3 times we ate there breakfast was included in our stay with a small menu to choose from which was different and nice casino was nice alright really didn’t see much staff there though
