Hive House

Great little hidden gem with an abundance of character tucked away in Cary! We frequent Cary from Virginia every few months and we’re always looking for a spot that feels like home away from home. I loved the character and vibe, it was secure yet accessible, not your traditional hotel experience. You feel like you’re checking into your own little condo! The owners/operators have put a lot of energy and time converting this space and I have to admit they’ve done a great job. The kitchenette's are a great amenity within the rooms. They were even sweet to leave a little note about ‘highway’ noise and single use ear plugs. The noise wasn’t excessive, what you’d expect being close to a highway. We travel with a sound machine and didn’t notice any excessive noise. I wish we had more time to spend in the shared common area because that space is so fun and inviting. Overall, if you’re looking for a boutique, non traditional hotel experience, this is a great spot!

Clean and design Let us wait too long to check in . The front desk said its too busy and didnt clean up room by the time we should check in go to room . After long trip and just waitting in labby feel too tired and they didnt really tell you why its late for checked in …… after asked to return the money cancel room then they rushed to let us checked in …. Not happy with the service of front desk

The decor was eclectic and fun, and the room size and separate sitting room was cozy. There was ample parking and it was easy getting close to the entrance. Quiet. Conveniently located to shops/dining Not enough light in the rooms, no lock on bathroom door, no front desk, no vending. INCREDIBLY OVERPRICED FOR WHAT IS OFFERED

Cute hotel with easy self check in process. Very accessible to local restaurants and very clean. Our room was next to the highway on the backside of the property which made sleeping very difficult even though they had the accessibility of earplugs in the room with a note. Definitely will be more cognizant on what room we request next time.

Interesting concept to check yourself in but it wasn’t executed well. Had to sit outside waiting for a code hours after check-in time. Used the website chat, texted and called (the number provided and the hotel next door that manages this property) asking for help with no response. Eventually I got a text thanking me for my stay, I hadn’t even checked in yet! Eventually I got a text with my entry code and got into my room and everything was fine but everyone with me was pretty cranky and tired at that point. The elevator was hot like a sauna, buttons didn’t light up and it shuddered a lot, strange and probably wouldn’t have been worth mentioning if we weren’t so cranky from the problems checking in.

I loved my stay! Very nice modern, up to date. One thing I will say is that the bedding could be a bit more comfy. Esp. Pillows. Otherwise everything was nice! Would stay. Again

Very cute property. I enjoyed the quirky decor. Would have given 5 stars if they had on site staff and a smoother check-in process. Staff is at the other hotel across the parking lot. Didn't enjoy inconvenience of rolling all my luggage back and forth to check in. To be fair they have online check-in but I wasn't interested in uploading a copy of my driver's license.

Great spot for independent travelers who don't need a full service hotel, but still want a clean, kinda funky place to stay. Knowing access, even to the lobby, was available only to guests made me feel very safe. Great location with restaurants near by. We used the free GoCary bus service (stop near hotel) to go to Downtown Cary Park for a lovely stroll and music bingo. Only negative was bed was bit spongy for me, but clean and plenty of pillows. Used convenient text option to request and get early checkin. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Room was clean and the bed was so comfortable which is rare when sleeping in a hotel. Check in process was easy. Access and location were perfect for what we needed. We would definitely come back.

The ac in our room waa broken maintenance was unable to repair. Offered to m ove our schedule on town waa too busy to meet to move. They dod offer. We slept no covers and bought a fan. They did offer a new room just couldn't meet the. To move my belongings directly to my schedule.

It was in a good location, near the stadium Coastal Credit. Nice that First Watch was in the same parking lot.

The communication leading up to the stay made it easy for us to get checked in and get the codes we needed to use our room. We would definitely stay again.

I love this place! My husband and I stayed here last year and again last month. What's not to love? You have access to every store and food option you can think of, within walking distance or a 1-minute drive. The place is new. The decor is nice. The downstairs lounge is cool, there's a workout room and a billiards table. The rooms are nicely decorated, very clean, spacious, and you have everything you need. It feels like a studio apartment. We will definitely return.

The Hive House in Cary, NC was comfortable and nice. It was located at a great location with access to some nice restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the room was large, clean and well appointed.
