Sonesta ES Suites Raleigh Cary

Enjoyed our stay and a very nice staff always ready to assist in anyway.

We had a very horrible experience at Sonesta ES Hotel. We've been to quite a few Hotels and I have to say this is the worse. First of all Sonesta ES advertises as a 4 star Hotel it is not even a 2 star. The Property is Dirty inside and outside. When we checked in the person at the Desk was very communication style was unprofessional and lack complete communication. I reserved a physically challenged room, which was on n the 3rd floor. I made sure they had an elevator by asking her. She said we do but it's out of service. I notified her I could not walk up stairs. So she put us in a room on the first floor. She checked us into Room 113 - which was dusty, everywhere in the room, whiccauses my allergies to flare up, outside of the Refrigerator was dirty. Beds were made up sloppy

The property comes off as new or almost new . The room was nice. However the hotel elevator was not running. I had to ask more than 1 staff member about the status of the elevator. Also the security deposit is quite excessive.

The room is very spacious and affordable. Great to have a kitchen and separate rooms for the kids. Breakfast was surprisingly good with a good variety. The pool is small, but adequate and clean. My only complaint was the beds were hard and the pillows flat.

The breakfast was very good. The room was clean and large.

Very clean, very helpful front desk and they were so accommodating. The pool was perfect for our kids and they loved the basketball court right beside it. Check out was at 11 and at 10:50 we started getting calls from the front desk and knocks on the door about when we were leaving. We were gathering our things and trying to get out and felt a little rushed. But it’s ok, we understand they have a job to do as well. We come to the area often for baseball and will be staying here again.

Location Elevator

Room was clean just saw finger prints on bathroom door and entrance door . Also need better put out sofa was hard to sleep on . Need thicker mattress for pull out sofa. Breakfast was ok need more variety. How water from aluminum dispenser taste like coffee water needs to be cleaned better or just used for hot water. Central AC unit is in bedroom and can be a noisy at times. Also they need a door or some kind of divider where the bedroom entrance to the bathroom sink area.

This is the third time we have stayed at this location. We find it clean, comfortable and in a great location for our purposes.

Location and size of room Wasn't that clean

The location was great. Staff was great. The rooms were overall pretty good. Beds were great. It was really easy for my family and I to stay in different rooms and coordinate. The room cleanliness wasn’t the greatest. We had an issue with one of our rooms which did end up getting resolved just a few minor updates and tweaks here and there honestly.
