The pool was being maintenance but the notification was only an overlooked sign hanging on a gate about the spa being closed. The maintenance was being performed by the front desk staff which had me asking why it wasn't done when the pool was closed as to not inconvenience guests. The onsite restaurant, Whiskey Butter, was very good but only open for dinner. The complimentary breakfast was not anything to write home about. A breakfast or lunch option from Whikey Butter would be nice. The arcade was fun.

Room was big and clean. Right next to the walking path and river, so great for walking and fishing. I didn't get a chance to enjoy the patio but it seemed nice outdoor seating. Had a restaurant but my visit was short. I did see advertised that the rooms have sound dampening, one of the reasons I booked it. However my room had two connecting doors to other rooms and a lot of sound bled into my room. If you want quiet make sure to ask for not one of those rooms.

Great stay the only complaint we have is the breakfast. We stayed 3 days and the breakfast was great day 1 with the exception of not having milk for cereal. Each day the breakfast was less and less. By the last day no bread or muffins. Overall I would stay here again but maybe bring my own breakfast items.

Kids were disappointed and so were we. Will not stay here again.

They are doing great updates! When it gets finished it will be even better!

Staff was not knowledgeable or helpful. Amenities were out of order. The lobby bathrooms were dirty with no soap or paper towels. In the room all the soap, shampoo, conditioners were empty. The toilet was broken. The Air Conditioner was broken. They also gave us a room with two queens when we specifically requested and paid for a King. Breakfast was very under stocked and half the machines were broken. They didn’t even have water.

The room however had crumbs and French fries on the floor around the love seat and foot of bed. The hair dryer looked as though it had never been wiped down. The music in the dining room and bar was very loud with a poor selection of songs which made for an unpleasant dining experience. Well not stay there again.

Room was not clean, coffee pot and telephone were both broken. We asked to have a working coffee pot brought to the room and they never did.

The property was okay. As most motels/hotels do, they took my credit card at check in for incidentals. This was suppose to be a temporary/pending charge if I had any room charges, which I did not. A $1.00 charge posted to my credit card which should have been temporary, and since I didn't have any incidental charges to the room, should have never even showed up on my credit card. But it did. I contacted the hotel (hard to reach them if you're not making a new reservation). They indicated the it was temporary and should disappear. It did not disappear. I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. I realize it's only a $1.00, but they already charge a "resort" fee and if they continue to post this charge to every guest, think how quickly it adds up for the hotel.

The television remote did not work, rendering the TV inoperable, and the phone in the room was broken, making it impossible to even contact the front desk to try to locate a staff member. The room itself was also in poor condition, including misplaced ceiling tiles in the bathroom and holes in the walls. Overall, the experience reflected a serious lack of maintenance, staffing, and basic guest accommodations.

The place was amazing and beautiful! There was a couple things that where a little annoying however the main thing being that the heater was broken and it was making a terrible loud noises when I tried to turn on the fan at night, we where also out of all kinds of soap, anyway other than that we had a great time and stay it is truly beautiful and affordable!

I will say that the woman working at the front desk was very sweet and apologetic. She even called the hotel next door to see if they had a room available for us, which we really appreciated. At this point, we are waiting for a refund from Expedia since we did not receive the room we paid for. Perhaps this issue could have been avoided if we had booked directly through the hotel rather than through Expedia. Again, I’m not sure whether the issue was caused by the hotel or Expedia, but arriving only to be told that we no longer had a room— with no prior communication of any kind— was extremely upsetting.

Under construction. Our window facing outside was shattered.

The breakfast was improved from the last time I stayed. They had turkey sausage at the hot breakfast. Last time there was no meat
