Very clean. Comfy bed. Tasty breakfast. Quiet atmosphere. Close to interstate and relatives we visited. No free on-site pharmacy to treat my cold. ;-) Just kidding!

The staff was all very friendly. I loved how clean the lobby was and the decor in your lobby. I have recently stayed at a different hotel which has worn out furniture in the lobby and that hotel was more expensive than this booking.

Breakfast, staff and parking were all fine. The room was not what we expected. It was not particularly clean; the bathroom tiles were loose, the toilet has black substance around the rim of the bowl. The bedframe had dirt and debris in it. The carpet in the elevators was stained and torn. The room we were given was a handicap room even though we did not make that request or need it.

We were told that this Hampton Inn franchise was sold to a different owner sometime in the not too distant past. Since we have stayed at this Hampton Inn over the years many times and all was satisfactory, we believe that the sale explains the deteriorating situation with the staff that we have recently witnessed. I would think that Expedia would be concerned with the hotel treating those who book through you as second class citizens who can be placed in rooms of a lesser quality than the room that they booked and paid for.

My room was spacious and comfortable. Despite a Hilton problem, the front desk staff handled it all with grace and patience. Hilton had a system wide outage so staff couldn't check anyone in, make keys, etc. They had to literally walk us to our rooms and unlock for us. They deserve a star and a raise for the extra duties and abuse they had to take from some customers. The ladies who helped me were great
