Radisson Hotel Cedar Rapids

Room was big and clean

staff were friendly hotel is old and the remodeling is probably going slowly

TV was awful. Couldn't get to main channels. Toile ran. Bathtub had rust. The property was dusty everywhere.

The hotel is very well maintained.

Minimalistic supplies like towels toilet paper rolls tea coffee.

The rooms were large and beautifully decorated but black pubic hair in the shower was unforgivable as far as giving a good rating for cleanliness this I can not do. The whole hotel was beautiful the free breakfast was pretty good but your maids are not doing their job.

The location was very convenient to my sons house. We were visiting him for a week in Cedar Rapids. It was a very outdated looking hotel, rooms looked really old and apparently they were doing a lot of remodeling to “ update “ the hotel. Ice machine didn’t work on our floor. ( 4th floor ) The hotel on the outside when you pulled up in the parking lot looked like an ( abandoned ) hotel. Needed a lot of TLC to the outside of the building like ( landscaping ) to make it pretty and more noticeable. The breakfast they served which was included with our stay was HORRIBLE! The first night staying in our room we got ready to shower my husband and I and they only provided 1 WASHCLOTH for the room um second night we were there, contacted the front desk to get more bath soap to bath with and got told they were out. All in all it was a very outdated place to stay, needed a LOT of repairs and updates, we was very disappointed with our stay, the pictures on their website when we made the reservations, the room we chose looked NOTHING like the one on their website when we arrived! I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone unless they get their updates and repairs taken care of.

The stuff was really nice The hotel was very old and dirty. The bed linens were stained, and the blanket was also visibly stained and dirty. Overall, the room did not feel clean or well-maintained.

Nice breakfast and comfy bed big room

The hotel is undergoing a rennovation. Dust everywhere. The staff is not properly trained to navigate the situation in the hotel. Our room had a leak in the ceiling that was dripping onto the carpet, a refrigerator that did not work, linens that did not match-each bed was different, baseball trading cards in the bag that housed the dryer, and staff at the front desk who were not trained to handle these situations when approached by them. Would not stay here again until the rennovation is complete.

The construction was limiting due to the fact that the ice machine on our floor was not working. The bathroom fixtures were not well connected (came off in my hand), and the heat/cool was unable to be adjusted so we ended up turning it off.

It looks like the whole hotel is undergone remodeling. New updated room with modern furniture. We really liked it. Inside of the hotel looks very impressive although, the entrance door and surrounding should be cleaner. Hotel staff were nice. We were not happy with the breakfast so we chose not to eat.
