Quality Inn at Collins Road - Cedar Rapids

Early afternoon staff was not the friendliest. Was told by a lady at the front counter that “computer was down” upon arrival. Never apologized for the inconvenience. Was just told to come back later. After coming back, the gentleman working the front counter was very friendly, glad to help us with our check-in!

Elevators were down.

Very good for the price. I won't hesitate to stay there again. Convenient location for my meeting.

There was urine in the toilet when we arrived. Used taco lid by the trash can that was not ours. Second day my husbands key no longer worked. Food was not warm at breakfast. The toilet wouldn’t flush. Decided to check out even though it was not refundable for Saturday night. Also when we went to check in the person was a little rude as we were a little early so chose to go get gas. Will never stay at a quality inn again as it was not a pleasant experience.

Yeah. They bumped my reservation even though I clearly communicated with them on 3 seperate occasions

Location The room 230 smelled horrible like old cigarettes smoke which caused me not to sleep well at all.

Parking is convenient, and security cameras made me feel safe despite the posted liability disclaimer regarding lost or damaged vehicles.

The room was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was better than adequate. We would probably consider staying there again. I had declared for a late check-in, but the front desk was unattended. I rang the bell numerous times and waited at least 15 minutes before someone came. She said she was upstairs and didn't hear the bell.

I was unable to stay in this room and they would not refund me. I have called the insurance I purchased too and they will not refund me. The room was ground floor, window would not close all the way and there was no lock on the window. As a solo female traveler I felt this was unsafe. Especially since the desk did not appear to monitored at night and the front door had a lock you needed to access with key card. The room also had an odd odor.

Could have been cheaper for senior citizens.

The staff was very kind. The hotel was just a bit outdated. A good price compared to others in the area.

Great breakfast great bed & room - staff not really present- smoke alarm went off at 5am because of shower steam I was up but I'm sure other guests didn't appreciate the noise - parking across street difficult to bring items in & out Above

Everything was fine. Bit of an older feel. Worth the price.

The gentleman was very pleasant who checked us in. Unfortunately, our room was filthy. I am traveling for business and had to book again for the following week, and am disappointed because I can't change my reservation because I booked online through Expedia. I can cancel but won't be able to get a refund. Very disappointing.

Everything was perfect

The afternoon manager was very helpful in recommending eateries in the area. Staff was pleasant. All was good. My room was on the west side of the building and a larger building was very close, so the room did not get much sunlight, The room air conditioning seemed dank.
