Holiday Inn Express Cedar Rapids (Collins Rd) by IHG

Went for breakfast at 635 (literally) and everything was gone. The waiting room was full of people, and there wasnt anything left. I realize this probably was due to the volume of people, but i couldnt wait, as i needed to get on the road coffee maker in my room was broken loud people around me

A most excelllent facility..double shades on the windows, the best breakfast spread around.

The room was very nice. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. The parking lot was well lit. The breakfast was very good. Thanks a lot!

Hotel was clean I requested two queen beds and was given a king bed. My Wi-Fi did not work using my last name and room number.

Staff were friendly and they have a great breakfast. The room was clean but the hallways and other common areas are showing age.

Room layout is very comfortable and efficient!

The only thing I would suggest is to have a list of the tv-channels so we don't have to just flip thru them one at a time to find our station we’re looking for.

Check in was suppose to be 3:00pm when we got there we was told there was still someone in our room it wasn’t ready I asked was there another room I was told we would have to wait. When we did finally get a room there wasn’t any facial tissues or large bath towels just hand towels & wash clothes & the hand soap was almost empty. Other than that the stay was nice

It was clean and the room was well laid out and large. Could hear the upstairs neighbor all night long. Also there was a flashing light in the room all night long. Then the next morning the hot shower was barely warmer than I already was and couldn't get any hotter.

This was our fifth time staying here always really good breakfast excellent as always.Right next door to chilli’s great margaritas. The staff and rooms have always been top notch will always pick this hotel if in cedar rapids

EXTRA BLANKETS

I think this is a different brand building that Holiday Inn Express bought and remodeled. It’s ok, but just ok. I wouldn’t go back.

Location for our needs. Staff nice. Older, carpet smelled like stinky feet, bathroom floor flooded into hallway when I showered.

We had to move in the middle of the night from our previous hotel due to no air-conditioning and to high temperatures in rooms. Your staff at night was amazing and gave us a late check out due to the fact that we had to wake up in the middle of the night sweating at their other hotel and she moved to a better hotel so thank you so much.

Entry way and foyer and elevator and hallways were dirty. Upon seeing the dirty entry we almost turned around to walk out
