Motel 6 Cedar Rapids, IA - Airport

no breakfast offered. Both TV remotes did not have batteries, went to desk, she fixed one, but did not give us the other one back, which was the Roko one, so we had no TV. Barking dogs and child screaming was an issue. Bathroom was not clean, too dirty to take a shower, cob webs in vents. Room actually stunk. Side parking lot door was supposed to be locked after a certain time of night, which it was not and it made loud noises everytime someone used it throughout the night. Would never go back. You really do get what you pay for, cheap stay, cheap motel. our mistake for a quick nap while traveling.

Suitable in a crunch but not worth the $$$.

It was the worst experience of my life, it was the worst hotel I could stay in, it was completely dirty. The room was too dirty, the floor had disgusting waste and there were insects and fleas

The first room had water standing on the floor along the exterior wall. The second room had a minor issue with bugs

No pool/hot tub to use. Floored are filthy dirty. Staff very nice though

I really enjoyed the jacuzzi in the room. I slept undisturbed. The staff was great and gave me a wakeup call as requested. I really enjoyed my stay even for one night. Will use it again when I return to visit. There was nothing that I disliked.

It was very noisy. People were very active in rooms and hall way most of night. The noise from trucks and motorcycles in parking lot was unpleasant. Overall hard to sleep.

Our room was dirty. The bathtub was dirty, there were no towels or kleenex. 2 of 3 lights were burnt out. We had no spot to park in & had to get a special paper signed by the front desk. The curtains were half off the rod...we were just not happy with it.

Newly remodeled, so there were new floors and lamps/decor, but the bathtub looked like it was found in a dumpster (we skipped our showers) and there were giant cobwebs in the corners of the room by the bed. There were a few instances during the night when we heard other guests yelling at each other. The guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

Location close to the airport. A lot going on which created a lot of trash and noise from the contractors.

Literally nothing. The only good thing about my stay was the fact that I didn’t have to drive far to the location I needed to be at. It was dirty, staff were rude, no A/C, room was muggy and moldy, and so much water damage. Don’t stay here!

Passable

I had it set to not charge my card until I got there. I arrived at 2:43pm. My card was charged around 12pm. The flooring needs updated. The back of the remote was missing and didn't seem to work. The microwave needed plugged in, and the freezer of the mini fridge needed to be wiped out. The property needs maintained better - litter in the back, covering the grass. It's decent for a cheap stay. Above all, I didn't appreciate my booking bring messed with. I booked what I wanted. Nothing is more irritating than lugging your things to your room to find out it isn't what you booked when you open the door. Maybe look into more competent management. Bookings should be honored - especially when made MONTHS in advance. Other than that? It was fine.
