Comfort Suites Dulles Airport

The Hotel was under construction so not great, but when they complete the work, I am sure it would be very nice.

Was unaware that the property was undergoing renovations. Breakfast was not available. Room was okay, clean.

the room was significantly misrepresented on the booking. a two bedroom suite with a sofa bed and kitchenette as shown in photos is actually just two beds and basic room amenities crammed into one small room. renovations make the place basically unusable. there were doors and random furniture strewn across hallways. the lobby was a minefield trying to move around construction and unfinished projects abandoned in the middle of the area. stains and hair all over linens and furniture. floors are disgusting in rooms. ceiling tiles are missing and dislodged everywhere. a horrible stay for the price we paid. none of this was mentioned before booking or arrival and when we had already arrived were unable to make other accommodations. desk staff was not properly trained and kept making mistakes on my check in payments. the place smelled like old food in the hallways and the room smelled like paint. there were exposed wires in the room walls.

Every inch of that property was under construction, including our rooms. had I known this was the case I would’ve never booked there. The food was terrible was cold and no ice. There was dust and workers all around us construction workers. I would like to respectfully request my money back it was a terrible experience.

We needed a hotel with close proximinity to the airport. Comfort Suites Dulles Airport fit the bill perfectly. We had enough space to comfortably fit the whole family and all of our luggage and the accommodations were comfortable so that we could get a good sleep before our ealy morning flight out of Dulles. The staff were also very kind and helped us with finding early-morning transportation to the airport. The hotel had a few amenities that we weren't able to take advantage of because we had to get to the airport by 4 am.

They booked a room that was still not complete when trying to update the property! They are putting lipstick on a pig and thinking the consumer will buy it. DONT DO IT

Whatever you do-DON’T stay there! They did NOT advise me that the hotel was being renovated before they took my money. Everything was tore up-from the floors to the walls. The elevator stank like body odor, furniture stacked in all corners. The room itself had misplaced tile, a loud A/C unit, the door had a large gap leaving a 1.5+ inch gap to the hall, TV did NOT function, there were exposed wires hanging out of the wall, and the electrical outlet in the bathroom didn’t work. There were posted signs in the hall that said someone might come into our room at any time to change smoke detectors. Did I mention the black hair left in the shower and an alarm going off on the floor above me starting at 5:30 AM?! (Apparently an empty room). When I checked out the next day and requested a refund they denied me. If it’s this bad stay CLOSED during renovations, or do one floor at a time! I travel often and this was as BAD as I’ve Ever seen! Horrible place, too gross! Never again!

The roof above room 421 leaked during the rain and we were ready for bed when my daughter who slept in the bed near the window felt a wet patch. She had to sleep on the opposite side. There was no bedding in the room for the sofa bed and we had to go and collect it from reception as there was no staff.

Unbeknownst to us they were doung MAJOR renovations to the property which was incredibly inconvenient and at times felt dangerous. Odd that they would choose 4th of July weekend to tear up the entire lobby and welcome area. The staff was great and I think the hotel would be great if we had booked after renovations. Next time we will call ahead and ask the condition before staying. Definitely should have offered a discount or other compensation for the inconvenience

The place was nice They were remodeling so little difficult there

The entire property was under renovation which was not on any website. knowing the truth about the status of the property.

We canceled and should have only charged 1 night

Construction made it a bit uncomfortable but hopefully end result will be good.

Overall, had a decent stay, The hotel’s location is the biggest perk. It’s in walking distance to lots of great restaurants and cafes. I didn’t realize the hotel was being renovated when I booked it in advance, and I felt that the price should’ve reflected that. The room itself was very clean and clearly updated, which was a nice surprise, but the rest of the hotel was under a ton of construction. Also, don’t bother with breakfast, you’re better off walking to the cafe next door. Looking forward to seeing it fully renovated in the future.

Property was well located near Dulles airport and offered stay and park; to leave the car whijj oh ever are away. Property is undergoing major renovation so much is just a mess. But the beds were still comfortable

The have construction inside the building and they didn’t have any lobby area, some towels were dirty
