Really dated room. Lounge closed two hours early. Just ok

We did not have breakfast. I booked the room 2 days before our stay. The room I picked was on side where front desk and restaurant are. That is where we always stay. We were sitting in lobby area waiting for our room . The lady at desk said oh your room is ready. She sent us across parking lot to the old dumpy place. We were very unhappy. The room stunk like cigarettes. Supposed to be non smoking. The smoke alarm was disconnected. The TV was all fuzzy couldn't see very well.The ceiling was so low we were almost touching it. The bathroom sink was so low I had to kneel down to wash my face. And all for $200 the night. Are you kidding!!!! Sad part is we have stayed there several times without issue. No more!!!!

This property is so bad that I left, even though my fee was non refundable. I would call the second building unsafe! One of the staircases was boarded up, and the other two looked like should have been. The room appeared to be clean, but everything was in horrible condition. Maybe the main building is better, but nobody should stay in the second building! I have no idea how this hotel could have the ratings that it does, because it is horribly rundown. There are much nicer hotels 5 minutes up the street for about the same price. The staff was nice and empathetic, and they did not seem surprised I was leaving after seeing the room.
