Best Western Charleston Inn

Nice place to spend a couple of nights.

The room was good except for the big cockroach in our room. I tried to kill it off the wall but it got away. The next day my friend noticed it under my bed and killed it. Never had that experience before and hope I never will again.

Es un hotel para pasar la noche. No me gustó que al momento de hacer la reserva no informaron que tenían problemas con la piscina que estaba fuera de servicio.

There was a homeless campsite on the property, in the area I was told to walk my dog. A night, outside smelled like pot. I won't stay there again.

Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean!

Interior and cleanliness. The price. Nothing special, same facilities we get in other cheaper hotels like Days inn, Wingate, Laquinta etc

The only good thing about our stay was front desk clerk, well trained , courteous. Air conditioner didn't work properly. Only needed a sheet for cover about 5 am, otherwise uncomfortably warm. Refrigerator didn't cool. Grounds weren't well kept in the rear of property. Trash accumulated at dumpster, old furniture, pallets. An abandoned truck at rear parking lot. Stairs threads missing in area of room 238. Cigarette butts accumulated in parking lot. Bath tub was rusted or moldy. All dining room chair seats were in neglected highly worn condition. Breakfast barely average. This facility is NOT in keeping with the standards of Best Western.

Nice place to stay Just the entrance

Bookings showed/stated a working pool. Arrived to sign on front door stating "pool closed for season" Later was told theres a crack in the pool and under mts. It has been that way for some time.

Very very dated. Smelled. The first night I wasn’t sure we were safe. The power went out about 345am. Pool was out of service.

Somewhat remote. 1 1/2 mile walk in heatwave to local testaurant / bars. Swill and Swine and Glass Onion establishments excellent
