The breakfast area was very dirty! Didn’t eat because of that reason! There was a lady not sure if she worked or lived there but she was in the area with her robe on!

Our son lives in the Charleston area. This is our "go to" hotel whenever we're in town. Clean, comfortable room with nice amenities. Safe area with plenty of parking. Close to restaurants, grocery stores, and downtown.

Our 900 sq ft 2 bedroom suite was wonderful. The kitchen could use some updates. Breakfast was very pleasant. I hope the hotel continues to refresh and update. The location was just right.

The bed was comfortable. We had no towel service on Saturday. I had to go to the front desk to retrieve clean towels and wash cloths. There was no tv remote in our room upon check in. There was coffee but no pot to prepare it in. There was an ironing board, but no iron.

The front desk reception staff was awesome. Very friendly and welcoming. Love the hand drawn message on the chalk wall. The cleanliness and general worn character of the facilities. For example in the room, the large chair was stained and dirty. Did not feel comfortable sitting there. In the bathroom the mirror is so discolored that I thought it was cracked. Just an overall appearance that was not welcoming or inviting.

The main problem was that the bed that I and another guest I talked to on my floor had, was that they felt like the cheapest mattresses you could buy. Trying to sleep on the bed was like sleeping on just straight rocks that are jamming into your back. The secondary problem I had with the place was that the room had some minor atheistic problems such as pieces that were slightly broken or dirty and that the bathroom floor still had hair on it from a previous guest.

The room was clean, staff friendly, easy parking and breakfast decent. The shower gel container was empty and the refrigerator started making a super loud noise on the last night, which I alerted the staff about. It’s a convenient location and relatively close to everything.

The only redeeming factors were the beds were comfortable and all of the ladies at the front desk were absolutely delightful!

The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The common area and our room was showing wear, ie, frayed carpet, misaligned bathroom tiles, older shower floor pan. My low rating is based on finding bugs and roaches in our closet and bathroom during the night.

My husband and I were very happy with our stay. The location was convenient to drive to Charleston. I would recommend this location to anyone. The room was good and the bed was comfortable.

breakfast had good options and was tasty. staff very polite. need to fix the dog bags around the property as most are jammed or stuck, but nice that they had several around the property. beaches are within 20 mins, lots of restaurants, grocery store options close by.

Check in was fine, the room was not ready , but that's okay. once we got our room and opened the door the smell of cigarettes was HORRIBLE! I have two little girls in the room with me ( 2 years and 5 years old) and they did not give us a different room ( they sprayed some chemicals to mask the smell... great more chemicals for my children to breathe in! i was promised that they would switch our rooms the next day ... never happened. this hotel is not up to Marriott standards at all. if any one in your party has asthma DONT GO!
