Easy to connect to the Wi-Fi. Spacious room. Nice location Not all channels worked on the TV.

The staff was absolutely amazing! Bfast.

We have stayed before and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. We personally had an issue with our toilet in our room, it worked, just had a phantom flush, we notified the staff when we checked out.

The location was a great proximity to everywhere we went. The hotel was clean, affordable, comfortable and breakfast was outstanding!!! The staff were sooo friendly and helpful. This will be our spot when we return to Charleston SC. Zero

Exceptional

Comfort Suites was dated, with maintenance issues that were resolved. Front desk staff were not too accomodating, Buy functional.

Everything was perfect as a returning customer. Great place great people. Grateful

The staff was very helpful and the hotel was clean. The indoor pool is a joke…super small, so don’t book based on that amenity. Overall decent hotel for the price.

Nice location and regular reception staff very friendly and helpful. After travelling all day we were met in the reception by an arrogant and unfriendly person behind the front desk. This person we found out later was the manager. Because he hadn't read our room request at the bottom of the booking form he allocated us a room that we wanted to avoid. When this was pointed out to him he had a major meltdown and started yelling his head of to us. Which was witnessed by the oncoming duty receptionist. I had to remind him twice to stop shouting. With much bad attitude he changed our room for us. As we were two senior citizens he tried using his size and loud mouth to intimidate us. Suggest he attends anger management course and customer service refresher. Being the manager obviously has gone to his head.

Location convenient to main roads; room was quiet and spacious; staff very friendly. Breakfast was adequate if one is fine with waffles, toast, cereal, yogurt. Coffee was good. The eggs (not real) and sausage were pretty bad.

Location Cracked tiles, old worn out furniture, poor for the $

Staff at check in was not helpful. I prepaid on expedita yet I was required to pay again to get into my room. The next shift on days was able to resolve the confusion but the night staff didn’t want to engage in assisting.

The breakfast was excellent each morning and prepared on time. Eggs, sausage, cheese grits, and a hot coffee were all I needed. Fruits, waffles, toast and cereals were also available. Parking was a non issue, however some might have difficulty when leaving the property which for most will dictate a u-turn to get back to 526 or head into West Ashley or James Island. Plenty of great places to grab a bite nearby with a list of those places provided by the hotel. Having The West Ashley Greenway was a game changer for me. I will absolutely be staying here again.

Not much grass area for my service animal

Housekeeping staff was short and too busy to respond for toilet cleanup, pickup towels, trash, replenish supplies. housekeeping never came down hallway for 2 day (I had door open and was looking for them). Pool was dirty and cloudy. Beer cans, alcohol bottles, trash that was in flowerbeds on Friday were still there on Monday. Phone didn’t work… was told to look behind/under bed for connection…I tried… they have no extra phone or maintenance person over weekend. Had to google phone number for front desk… after no answer for 5 minutes, voicemail full, no one in housekeeping, general manager phone V/M not taking messages…had to walk to desk. No towels in pool area (bin was empty… desk informed… was told that next shift would do. )Next shift didn’t) Broken sink basin, paint peeling from bathroom door, Breakfast staff was great! Pool was warm (but dirt in all corners and cloudy, no towels available)

The front desk staff were nice. The shower and bathroom need an update. The housekeeping staff need to do better about cleaning the rooms for the next guest.
