Breakfast was good and the concierge was very helpful during breakfast!

The location was excellent! Close enough to walk to many locations. Easy bus ride to others from in front of the property! The room was not ready by check in so had to wait 30 min after having unloaded our luggage in the rain. The air conditioner return vent in the ceiling leaked and dripped the entire time. We put down towels and told the front desk but they did not seem concerned. Very noisy area with room facing Meeting St.

What a mismatch! Really helpful staff in a tired faciity. The interior is worn out and overdue for a refresh. Things don't work, and while staff is happy to address them, you shouldn't have to call their attention to a thermostast or toilet that doesn't work properly. Also, the rooms are musty and not well soundproofed, so if you are a light sleeper, you will not sleep well. Again kudos to the stasff for working hard to make things right.

Fantastic place to explore Charleston from! Dipping in the pool after walking around all day was DELIGHTFUL!!! Staff were kind and polite. Has moved to the top of my “hotel” list for Charleston!!

It was a great stay

We had a great time in Charleston. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. We were located next to the free shuttle bus and right by King Street, so we were in easy access to local sites, restaurants, and shopping. We highly recommend this Hampton Inn.

Old. No safe in room or refrigerator. Nice buffet breakfast. Close enough to touristy spots.
