Exceptional

Room was not as expected, bathroom was dirty with a moldy shower, dirty bathroom door with black color handprints prints, carpet was stained next to the bed, furniture was stained and dirty, mirror was dusty and dirty. Asked for a late checkout from one receptionist and he rudely denied us and said there is a new policy from the owner that won’t allow it. Told him of all the issues we had in the room and he just stood there with no response. We then went to dinner to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and came back a few hours later to a different receptionist, asked him for a late check-out and he immediately said no problem and let us leave at 12:30. (I only wanted an extra hour) Valet left my drivers rear window open the whole time we were there and the car was full of dust and moisture I’m guessing from the humidity. The view from our “balcony king room” looked straight into the new other hotel and not the harbor as advertised. All would be ok if the hotel was a 150.00 per night hotel, but for 700+ and night, you should do better!

The staff were wonderful, especially the night staff.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and staff! My husband and I were visiting and celebrating our 10 year anniversary and we’re so glad we decided to stay at the HarbourView Inn. As soon as we pulled up, the valet service and bellman were so nice and helpful. Our luggage was taken immediately up to our room and laid out in appropriate spots for us. We received the same great service at check in, where they upgraded our room to a suite and comped our daily parking fee for our anniversary stay. And WOW our room was beautiful and clean with an amazing view of the harbour from our balcony. And a complimentary bottle of wine was waiting for us to celebrate! The location of the hotel was perfect - directly across the street from the waterfront park and within a short walking distance to so many restaurants and sites in the French Quarter. They provided complimentary breakfast and coffee delivered to our room every morning at the time we desired. We really enjoyed the wine and cheese cocktail hour each evening at 5pm. Our room was well taken care of and restocked every day with necessities by the cleaning staff. We had the most amazing trip to Charleston and we owe a lot of that to this hotel. Thank you so much and the next time we come back, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

The location, rooms and most importantly, the staff! They went over and above to accommodate us, especially Samuel! Highly recommend the HarbourView Inn. Nothing.

Location,Location,Location no complaints

From check in to check out, everything was beyond perfection. Staff was amazing. Prime location hotel was spotless and pristine highly recommend and definitely will be back.

From arrival to departure the staff was outstanding. It’s a beautiful location and convenient to where we wanted to go.

Wow! What a great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. The room and bathroom were spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast delivered to our room was a special treat! The location was very convenient for touring the French quarter. Highly recommend

Very quite and small hotel. Almost had a bed and breakfast type feel to it. The rooftop was amazing. Had things like wine and cheese hour etc.

This is our second stay and we loved the location, facility and the best staff! The breakfast is very nice and delivered to your room or balcony. We will stay here again

Beautiful view with great location. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Lots of fun extras, happy hour with wine and snacks and late night cookies and milk. Would highly recommend!

Our stay at the Harborview Inn was amazing! We were catered to and pampered our entire stay! The staff were friendly and wonderful! Can't wait to go back again!!

Free breakfast is great. Great area, very walkable. Big rooms, nice views. Worth the money.

Nice little hotel. It was clean and the staff was attentive. The room wasn’t anything special. Fairly basic, but I did get one with a balcony which had a reasonable view of the water. I have definitely had much better rooms at the price point, however I think the whole area is overpriced for what it is. The price for parking was way too much. $45 a day. Why is there a separate fee to park at the hotel? This isn’t a city where some guests don’t have a car, just include it in the room price.

Everything and everyone was delightful. Clean, great breakfast, lovely rooftop and perfect location.

Personable and professonal staff. The continental breakfast delivered to our room each morning was an added bonus. N/A - everything was perfect.
