Great place. Great location. Staff was friendly and accommodating. My only negative was that the tv was a hassle to get logged into each time that you turned it on. Overall I highly recommend this place.

Location Pastries and coffee on each floor plus cookies in the afternoon Restaurant on site although I didn’t like my meal/ fillet over seasoned and tough/ wedge salad over dressed

This was the first time staying at the Market pavilion. Best location in charleston, with an amazing rooftop and across the street from the Charleston market yet not noisy. Hotel might consider doing a better job with security around the pool when it comes to hotel guests and the many outsiders who frequent the roof top bar to drink and take in the views. Coffee bar and pastry fruits, located in each floor lobby is a nice touch. All in all staff was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, we had an inexperienced front desk employee who made things a bit more challenging then it needed to be. Everyone else from the valet to the support desk staff and concierge was very helpful. Rooms are comfortable. Beds were amazing and bathroom had everything. Overall very good stay and would recommend.

Clean room, very helpful staff, did little things to make the stay more enjoyable

Roof top bar was great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The location was in the middle of everything. We did not have to use the car for the duration of our stay.

My wife and I really loved the hotel. The rooftop bar was great as was the bartender and the food. Beautiful clean rooms and great staff. We will be back.

Great location. Great staff. Overpriced. The hall carpets were stained, filthy and they were old stains and several of them! The cookies and breakfast pastries were stale and not the best. The coffee was always set up after 6:30 and a couple of days it wasn't even hot, no microwave to heat it up (the hot water was luke warm. Several times we went back to our room to have the door open and no one was in there.

There is coffee/tea service every morning on each floor, along with pastries and fruit assortment. Very central location. Lovely rooms, marble bathrooms with separate shower and tub. Piano music in the lobby in the evenings. Very quick and easy check in and out service.

What a fabulous hotel. The room was great, comfortable bed

Everything from the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out was amazing. The valet service was super easy, the room was very clean and the staff was incredibly nice the whole time. It’s across the street from the riverfront market, a major plus.

This was one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in. It was very clean and well maintained. The bar was expensive, but it's a high-end place. We loved the room and the location.
-
Clean, comfortable bed Not my taste, a bit stuffy and formal traditional decor
-
The location couldn’t be more perfect either and very easy to reach. Everything is walkable from here and the city market literally runs alongside the hotel. My only small complaint was a very basic gym but we made do. Outside of that it is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. Superb and highly recommended!

Had a great time here!

The staff were, for the most part, incredibly friendly, kind, helpful, and accommodating. Twice-daily housekeeping was also a really nice touch and kept our room feeling tidy and comfortable throughout our stay. The one negative experience was with a gentleman who practically chased us down when we walked back into the hotel on Saturday after going out for ice cream. He stopped us to ask if we were guests staying at the hotel. While we understand that hotels have security procedures, the way the interaction was handled felt uncomfortable and incredibly off-putting. It left us with the impression that perhaps we didn’t “look” like we belonged there, which was disappointing given how welcoming everyone else had been. Aside from that interaction, our experience was excellent. The hotel is beautiful, the location is fantastic, and the majority of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We would definitely choose to stay at Market Pavilion again on a future trip to Charleston.
