Staff were incredibly helpful
-
It was incredible. Stay with the folks over at spectator.

Property is very clean and well kept. The location is perfectly situated for all kinds of activities. We wish other hotels would offer the same
-
What a wonderful hotel with an exceptional staff. They made our stay such a great experience. The gym would be my only small dislike (definitely not a complaint). Just a bit small when sharing with another hotel.

Wonderful stay!
-
Great experience as always. Thank you!

It feels so personal, like a private home. The bar is exceptional, very cozy. The staff is wonderful, so accommodating. We could walk to dinner and a short uber ride to theater. Having a butler is awesome, breakfast in our room was delightful.
-
Beautifully appointed room, clean and spacious bathroom with high end fittings and toiletries. A/C worked very well. Mini bar snacks and drinks were a plus, as was room service breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!
-
I stayed here last year and the staff and hotel could not have been any better. I came back a year later and, again, the staff was unbelievable. Friendly, helpful and professional. I did feel that the hotel showed wear since my last visit. It was still wonderful but if I’m being honest it went from pristine to very nice. Locations is Perfect.

The breakfast delivery to the room that's included here was also wonderful and always on time and correct with the orders. The device cleaner and noise machine were great perks as well. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Our stay was outstanding in every respect

Everything was excellent!! Will be back!
-
Comfortable luxurious room, nicely furnished. Great breakfast. Five star service. Excellent location. Great spot for a central Charleston stay with excellent service, but few onsite amenities.
-
This is the 4th or 5th time staying here. The staff is always amazing. They go above and beyond. Girl’s trip, romantic trip - it is the perfect hotel and location. There are many wonderful options in CHS - this is one I will continue to return to and share with family and friends.
-
The Butler staff was amazing and we loved our stay. Highly recommend The Spectator to anyone visiting Charleston!
-
Great location and excellent breakfast!
-
Location , quiet, staff very nice and helpful. Extras like snacks and drinks included in your room. Late check in
-
Top tier service from the front desk to the valet to the maintenance staff. One of the best overall experiences I've had from a service perspective and the hotel is within walking distance to all the restaurants and shopping in the downtown Charleston.
-
Regarding the amenities I did not feel though that this was a five start hotel. Outside of the small entry lobby/ bar there is no space to use. The gym can be utilized in a hotel around the corner, but it’s small. We were expecting some rooftop terrace or special experience for a five star. For a downtown city hotel it gives you what you need but seems too expensive for me with the sole focus on the room itself.
-
The butler touch was significantly special, thank you all at the hotel for your thoughtfulness, caring and hospitality. We enjoyed it so much. Highly recommended.
