We loved staying at The Loutrel! The staff was so friendly and helpful - everyone from the front desk to valet to the bar.

We loved everything about this hotel. It was within walking distance of most shopping or places of interest. It was very convenient to come and go from there if we needed to take an Uber as well. The staff was most accommodating in every way. This hotel‘s first class from the room to the breakfast area and bar. We enjoyed the plush bedding and in-room amenities. It was five star in every way.

I would highly recommend a stay here and will return again. A huge Thank You to the entire staff!

Our stay was lovely! The room was beautiful and spacious. They offered a nice breakfast adjacent to their lovely lobby. The hotel is within walking distance of some very good restaurants. I would stay here again.

Awesome boutique hotel with great service, food and drinks.

The staff was a class act. From Anicia (sp?) at the desk to Leah at the bar and the lovely women that made us a breakfast box when we have to depart at 5 am. Loved loved loved. We come to Charleston every summer from California and we’ll see you all again soon!

The Hotel was clean modern and had a sophisticated atmosphere. There is a beautiful light fragrance throughout the facility. Staff from the Front Desk, concierge, and wait staff were all very pleasant. The breakfast provided was top notch and added greatly to the stay. Happy hour with light fare was also very relaxing. The mixologists had terrific skills and made delicious cocktails. All this with its central location makes it an easy choice to pick when visiting the Charleston area.

The Loutrel is by far the nicest hotel in Charleston. Whenever I'm visiting the area, I always make a point of staying there. It's 5-stars, for sure!

- Great location, walkable to so many things - Wonderful service, helpful and attentive staff - Clean and modern yet still had that Charleston charm - Really appreciated the welcome cocktail and daily happy hour with free drinks and snacks! - Also appreciated the free snacks and drinks in the room - Loved the "DIY" beverage bar that was out at all times with fresh flavored water and accompaniments (and much needed in the August Charleston heat!!) - Delicious included breakfast with a lot of options Truly felt like a luxurious, relaxing get away. Definitely don't think twice about staying at The Loutrel if all of the above sounds great.

Our room was so spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed and linens crisp and comfortable. Room also well appointed with snacks and beverages. Daily breakfast is another lovely treat- great way to start the day. Location of the property is also perfect! Walkable to the water, sites, restaurants and shopping! Will definitely stay again in the future!

This property is beautifully decorated and has a more intimate feel. The valet service was exceptional; additionally, the entire staff was friendly, pleasant, and professional. I would only stay here in Charleston if I visit again.

Very clean, well appointed rooms and public spaces. Friendly, helpful staff. My only drawback was the breakfast offerings were very similar to standard mid-level hotels.
