Awesome surroundings! Breakfast, subpar!!

Lovely, bright, welcoming. Cool art on display throughout the lobby, hallways and rooms. Staff from reception to valet to housekeeping were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and seeking to make our stay very enjoyable. Loved the welcoming drink, turndown service, pastries and fruit delivered to our door each morning. coffee in the lobby and complimentary bikes with wicker baskets. We’ll be back!! Room and bathrooms a teeny bit small but very comfortable.

It was great all around! Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Great location!

Gluten-free muffin and fruit at room door every morning by 7:00 AM, good coffee in the lobby by 6:00 AM. Very helpful staff. Umbrellas and bottled water for the weather.

The location was perfect. The decor was very funky and fun. The whole ambiance was charming. The staff were wonderful. The complimentary wine for my husband birthday was highly appreciated as was the art tour. We were in room 316 and there was a musty mildew smell on that floor down the steps. The door to shower/.toilet did not close and all the paint was chipped off the bottom of door. It needs to be fixed! And somehow the mildew smell needs to be addressed. We were going to ask for another room but honestly we’re too tired to move and had too many things to see and do to go through the extra hassle. Also, we did not realize we were going to have to pay another $100 on our hotel room bill for parking our car. Every time we needed something from car, they had to go get it which was a hassle for us. Also, When they returned our car it was covered in bird poop! Not what you’d expect from a hotel of this caliber. Honestly, paying extra for that hassle was the biggest disappointment.

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at the Vendue. The hotel is located in the French Quarter surrounded by plenty of restaurants and historical activities. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return.

Some lint came out of the overhead vent onto our bedspread right after we checked in. After letting them know they immediately sent housekeeping to change all the linens. This is the second time we have stayed at the Vendue. Very convenient to lots of places within walking distance, including the Market. Will come again.
