The Vendue

The staff were absolutely amazing and helpful. A great beautiful property located within walking distance of so many amazing sites to see and great food!

Amazing hotel in the perfect location! Bathroom was spacious and beds were so comfy. Happy hour and art tour every evening. Continental breakfast on your door every morning was a nice touch. Front desk and concierge were very helpful. Highly recommend!

Staff was great. We were booked for the Vendue however we were moved to their property across the street The Enclave. Not the experience we paid for by any means. The art was nice and the building has character…however the room itself does not reflect the price point. The building also has low to no water pressure. My wife was unable to take a bath because it took too long to fill the tub for a bath. The staff apologized and said that it was a normal situation. Additionally our second morning we had zero…not even a little!!! hot water. There are too many other better options than to pay an average price over $600/night at the Vendue. Extremely disappointing!

And the SHOWERS!!!! Oh MY!!!! That was absolutely heavenly! If this hotel is in your budget, stay there. If this hotel is not in your budget, cancel something else so you can stay there. ;) I know exactly where I am staying the next time I am in Charleston.

It was okay

We waited 20 minutes to check out and were completely ignored. They then sent us a bill including parking and other amenities when we had fully prepaid the reservation AND HAD NO CAR. Watch you bill - they ignore you so they can scam you afterwards. Such a shame as the check-in was great. Check out was terrible.

Wonderful and welcoming arrival. Very attentive and helpful. Great dining recommendations for places outside the hotel. Would absolutely stay again. This stay was for pleasure.

Great location, staff was very attentive and we loved the sweet treats!

Great location. Nice museum and restaurant. Breakfast was just whole fruit and pastries. It was clean and safe but secure your items-they threw away one of our bags that contained items we wanted to keep that was sitting on the desk /not in the trash can.

Staff was not helpful. Bartenders were rude at the Rooftop bar. Bed was not comfortable and the room smelled musky. Room and Valet service was too expensive. Only bonus was the nice location to waterfront and walkable to other places.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
