Hyatt House Charleston/Historic District

The rooms with the island and kitchenette are so great. Pleasantly surprised. This hotel is on King street and close to great restaurants and bars.

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. Great staff,breakfast and room . We loved it.

Parking was terrible, you’d only be able to park on among street and sit not it’s the city garage and it’s a lot of money daily. So consider parking then staying here. Defiantly added a cost to my trip.

Buffet breakfast was excellent, with a rotating menu which was great for a multi-night stay. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was good, as it was convenient getting on and off the Interstate. Hyatt House is a short walk to the Charleston Visitor Center where the free city bus lines converge.

The staff was unbelievably hospitable, which is very hard to find today. They made our stay very personable. Valet parking was easy and prompt when needed. The rooms were clean with lots of space. Big beautiful spacious shower and neatly maintained kitchenette. I loved everything and everyone at this place. oh and the breakfast was delish!

Valet brought the vehicle around to the boutique entrance, not the hotels entrance. We’ll be looking around for others in the area

Our room had dirty carpet when we arrived with bits of paper trash, Doritos crumbs, and twist ties on the floor. The air conditioner leaked some kind of fluid onto my suitcase so that when I went to pack up, I did not realize that there was a liquid on the outside and inside of my suitcase. It had a fairly strong odor.

The breakfast was great, the location was wonderful, and the staff was very helpful.

Our stay was perfect! The hotel is beautiful, staff great, clean rooms, and breakfast was delicious! It was such a convenient location for everything; great shopping opportunities. All in all, I will definitely book here again!!
