This Hotel is right in the middle of everything! The rooms are spectacular and the staff makes you feel great.

This place was amazing! Very cool and practical at the same time. Very close to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Staff was lovely; room gorgeous. Shower handle fell off at first use; bananas were rotten in breakfast suite.

Can't say enough great things about this property. The location is fantastic (as long as you want to be in the middle of a fun and busy area packed with lots of great bars, restaurants and shops), the rooftop bar has spectacular views, the rooms are very well appointed and feel huge because of the layout, and the service was very attentive. And it really wasn't that expensive, relative to some other more well-known properties on King Street. All around, we had a great experience and would highly recommend The Nickel!

Excellent!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Staff was amazing and valet was wonderful as well. Beware that there is a $50 a night parking fee that wasn’t disclosed until after booking.

The hotel was beautiful, and the rooftop bar had a great view of the bridge. We loved our room and plan to stay here in the future!

Loved our stay at the Nickel. Excellent staff. Literally everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful. The room was spotless. The windows were huge and let in lots of light. Mattress was super comfortable (would love to know the name of the brand). Location was great for us; it's about a 20–25-minute walk to the Charleston City Market. One minor criticism; no sheers on the windows. Not a major issue, just would have been nice to have.

Smaller location made the staff attentive and on point. Complimentary bikes and morning coffee spread a nice touch. Only downside was the room faced the central shared atrium where voices carried in the morning
-
Location for all of downtown Charlestons bars, shops and restaurants.

Great property. The staff is execellent.
-
Rooftop bar was nice as was “first in line for hotel guests” policy. It was a bit pricey, especially for not offering a breakfast, but we were there during local college graduation so that might have affected prices

Just nice

Loved the interior design, comfort, room amenities. Rooftop bar with great service and vibe. Extremely spacious rooms with washer, dryer and kitchenette! Very comfortable bed and bedding. Valet service was excellent but the hotel could use another arrival spot in front of the hotel for unloading when there are multiple arrivals at same time. This would only be an issue during "rush hour" traffic.

I absolutely loved the Nickel! All the service we received was phenomenal! It was the perfect place to stay. I will be back!

Well-appointed room! Spacious layout with high quality finishes. The staff went above and beyond showing the highest level of hospitality. Cannot recommend The Nickel enough.

Best place ever!!

We absolutely loved the location and kitchenette while traveling with our baby. This place blew our expectations out of the water. Perfect spot and the staff was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. Don't sleep on the rooftop bar either. The curtains and the bathroom setup. The half-glass shower is not my favorite and there's virtually no counter space around the sink which made it difficult for my wife and I to share the bathroom. Of course, it's Charleston so you have to be aware that there will be 10,000 college kids (I was one of them not so long ago) outside of your hotel from 7pm to midnight Thursday - Saturday until the end of May.
