After paying almost $200 for a room that was smaller than my bathroom with no seat no chair for the desk the bathroom had mold in it the shower head was disgusting they had this irritating pink lamp that you couldn't turn off not sure why you would put a pink bulb in a lampshade where you can't even do anything with it there was absolutely no coffee maker in the rooms we would at least have thought you could have a coffee pot in there since you can get that at a Motel 6 no free breakfast not even any pastries and no coffee bar they give you a token for two free drinks but you have to have vodka so I gave them back would not recommend this place not for that amount of moneyI

It was very nice and exactly what we needed for our stay. Great location!

Overall vibe was cute. LOVED that they had a little "stash" near the elevators where you could gather any necessities you might be missing, INCLUDING an extra pillow because the bed only originally had two. The listing made it seem as tho they had parking available, no where did it say valet only. We drove in, in a standard sized truck and had the worst time entering the front, then the valet just assumes we are valeting and tries to gather us. We traveled with dogs so we wanted to check in, get our lives together, etc but were being rushed. Then the only other parking available was on the street or a city lot. Now here's the big one for me, this is a very big dog friendly hotel (LOVE), BUT when I asked the front desk where they recommend we take the dogs to go potty, she said I have no idea. There was no type of accomodations for this in a very busy very populated downtown area so that was a huge point of contention for our stay here.

Beautiful and comforting hotel. The only “issue” I had staying was the miscommunication of the room cleaning and me grabbing the change of sheets on my own from the hallway. For the paid parking, it was easy and reasonable. I do wish the parking lot had some more security.

The design and style of the hotel was nice. However, the gym is small, the bar staff unfriendly, and there is no ice machine. There is a stash of goodies like towels, toilet paper, toothpaste, of things you can grab in the hallways which was nice. There’s no iron in the rooms. I stayed in the bunk bed room and it was very small. Limited to no storage space or closet at all. Had to keep all of our stuff in suitcases on the floor. Rooms had a dusty vibe to them, we all woke up stuffy every morning. The AC wouldn’t go below 73°. Our room typically was close to 80° for most of the trip which was uncomfortable. They also proceeded to charge my card close to $1000 after I paid months ago through Expedia. Still working to get my money back. The area of hotel is close to king street but not as close as it’s marketed. Easily 15 min walk to some parts. In a lower income area and part of meeting street, on outskirts of the nicer spots. Lots of homeless people sitting out the hotel side streets. Nice outdoor rooftop but no pool. Overall it’s an average stay but nothing worth while and there are definitely better options in Charleston.

Property was clean and perfect for a small getaway! Walkable distance to king street and many restaurants, bars, shops, etc!

At 5:45am, there was no staff to be found and no coffee anywhere. Another lady and I wandered around yelling “hello” looking for someone.

Everything especially the location

I was traveling alone and felt completely safe. I liked that the bar/restaurant was on the 6th floor. Everybody working there was very polite and helpful. While the selection was limited, the food was surprisingly good. The barstools are too low for most people. Fortunately, there are plenty of other seating options.

Rooftop bar was nice .. but lacked any background music or entertainment for a Friday night vibe. Check in was on the 6th floor and no parking lot to park. Had to pay valet to park car.

I always choose any “Moxy” hotel and never disappoints. Room is minimalistic but all else is fun, and have a good time.

It is on the edge of downtown so that's good and a challenge sometimes. The rooms are small but creatively arranged for space.
