Best hotel I’ve found so far in Charlotte, so clean for even Floor 1! Breakfast was enough too. Lovely overnight stay in the University City area! No complaints at all.

I like that it was close to the highway and near restaurants There is construction happening right now the there is no scenery to see around the hotel but the construction is not at the hotel it’s behind it

Clean, the room we stayed in was beautiful and in very good condition, staff was always attentive if needed, the pool was a nice little addition, and the breakfast was actually quite good. My only complaint would have been that the lady at the desk the night of check-in was very off-putting and not friendly at all. The rest of the staff the other days were all very friendly and fun though so it didn’t really matter much to us!

Everyone was great as always.

Came back from a concert and power went out in our room. Night auditor would not help us. Just shrugged. No manager at checkout next day and no comp or resolution.

The breakfast, however, was rather monotonous and limited, although everything that was served was tasty. The biggest problem was the air conditioner. It is located under the window, about 20 cm from the bed. Sleeping next to it is like sleeping in a strong draft. On top of that, the AC was as noisy as an old tractor diesel engine, with an awful metallic rattling sound. And when it kicked back on during the night after a pause, it sounded as if someone had started a helicopter engine half a meter away from your head. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable, and the blankets felt completely synthetic. With the door closed, conversations in the hallway could be heard as clearly as if the people were sitting right on your bed. Overall, the hotel gave me the impression of a low-budget motel that wouldn't even deserve two stars. One night here was enough to leave me completely exhausted before a long journey. Very disappointing, especially considering the Marriott name and the expectations that come with it.

Love the Suite. The restaurant and bar were nice. Food was great, staff was amazing and I was only there one night.

Newer hotel and nicely decorated. Great breakfast.
