Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charlotte Southwest by IHG

The beds and pillows were comfortable. The room was clean. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed on the second floor. The bathroom sink and tub drained slowly. There was no exhaust fan to remove the humidity so the fabrics in the room felt slightly damp and the room had a slightly musty smell. Also, using the tv remote was not very intuitive so we didn’t watch tv.

The staff was very helpful only thing is the ice machine was broken. But the location you will need a car to get around.

The hotel itself was lovely but after reserving with Expedia we were charged for a night’s stay on the credit card we left for the $50.00 deposit required. We had to contact them a few days later to have them remove the additional charge.

Everything was good except they charged my room for food purchased and I didn’t purchase it. But it’s okay it was a pleasant stay.

I noticed immediately the clean smell in the lobby. It was fresh not trying to disguise anything. The bathroom was clean with new looking towels and the beds were comfortable with crisp fresh scented sheets. Breakfast had warm and cold options for our family. Overall one of the best stays we have had.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless, with a cozy bed that made it easy to get a great night’s sleep. I also appreciated the convenient location it was close to restaurants, shopping, and other attractions, making it easy to get around Charlotte. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and convenient place to stay in the Charlotte area!

My room was canceled and i was not called and once i arrived the staff did not try to accommodate me at all. Horrible customer service

My only negative experience was with one of the front desk clerks. She had an annoyed attitude and look on her face as she checked in 2 different parties before me and then when dealing with me. Maybe she was just having a bad day.

Bathroom was roomy and clean too. Great shower and water pressure. Terrific breakfast, maybe add waffles. Great access to food, shopping, and activities...and probably some traffic. After all, it's Charlotte. We will book here next time!
