SpringHill Suites by Marriott Charlotte Univ. Research Park

Stayed here a few times when traveling to Charlotte. Always have a great stay! Rooms are clean and staff is really friendly.

Great place to stay. We went to a concert at the Amphitheatre and it was super close. Very convenient.

It was very clean and the staff was very pleasant

Good for an overnight stay and close to UNC Charlotte. The hotel is dated; the room I booked was a King Suite and was assigned a handicap room. The faucet in the bathroom was just about falling off. There were other loose shower attachments, which was concerning.

The breakfast was well prepared and very good. The rooms were roomy and comfy.

Excellent

We had the best stay. Our plans changed and we were running very late to check in and the hotel was very accommodating. They even allowed for a late check out.

The staff were really nice and helpful. The room was really clean! I didn't get to use the amenities because I only stayed one night. The breakfast was eh. But overall, it was great! I'd definitely recommend and I would stay again!!

We were able to sleep and not hear neighboring sounds , couldnt try the breakfast as we chose to sleep in- like the fact that check out was at 12

I enjoyed the room setup. The bed was comfortable and bathroom spacious. The breakfast was very good also.

Very clean, and updated.

The fresh fruit water in the lobby was delightful. Breakfast was not what I expected at all. I had to eat off the property. The hotel was extremely booked and the elevators didn't flow smoothly, we almost got stuck.

Breakfast wasn't much better. As it was a long weekend and pretty much booked, the staff couldn't accommodate the number of guests, and food was gone pretty quickly. This is hospitality 101! The positive comment is that the place was close to the highway, restaurants, and downtown.

Clean property &helpful staff

Nothing

The beds were soooo comfortable! And the room set up was super nice! Nothing

Exceptional

I liked the location. I also liked the free parking and breakfast. That's about it. I didn't like the mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, as well as the spider that greeted me. I also didn't like the moldy smell that greeted me. Lastly, I didn't like that I couldn't get anyone on the phone from 11:30 p.m. to my 1:50 a.m. arrival when I was trying to notify them that my flight had been delayed, and I didn't want them to cancel my reservation and mark me as a no-show.

Exceptional

We didn't have any issues. Helpful stuff, everything seemed ok. Breakfast was decent with different options. The hotel is in a good location not too far from store & restaurants.
