The Beacon Charlotte Airport

We needed a bed for the night and that is what we got. It was fine for the price nothing fancy. The couch was stained, but the beds looked clean. The bathroom seemed to have been updated abd had shampoo etc there. Our main complaint is that we were not informed we needed to be added to the shuttle list for the airport return and it left 5 minutes early which meant we missed it.

I got charged for a smoking fee when no smoking happened in the room but yet employees can vape inside at the front desk where people check in? They only come by and clean the room every other day and I understand that the elevator was messed up but the staff did not have to be rude about opening it like it was an inconvenience to them. I was not impressed with this hotel I would not recommend this to friends and family.

The hotel is very dated, the room furniture is old, worn out and in need of replacement including the telephone, clock, light fixtures. Carpet looks old and no room safe, the food items are few and not well stocked. I give this property a D+ rating, will not stay again

Me quedé una sola noche por cancelación de vuelo. Cumplió su objetivo, cuarto limpio, desayuno. La transportación al aeropuerto no es constante, No hay nada cerca para comer o alguna recreación a la que se pueda llegar a pie.

The place adequately took care of what I needed.

The receptionist was short with me when I called requesting information regarding the their airport shuttle service. She hung up on me during the conversation. Not nice. While waiting in the lobby to check in, she was unfriendly with me or other customers she was talking with on the phone. Seems like an unhappy person and she's probably in the wrong line of work (customer service). The room was okay. The bathroom needs some TLC, mold in the shower/tub caulk lines and old caulk that needs to be replaced.

Everything was great!! Staff was very professional, rooms were well appointed!

Other passengers on the hotel shuttle also agreed with me about the lady’s attitude when I brought it up during the ride to the airport. We all agreed that the driver’s positive energy is needed more at the front desk than on the bus. He was amazing and was the star employee in my opinion. The property also needed much attention. There was pubic hair from previous guests left all over the tub, on the bathroom floor, and on most of the towels. Poop stains in the toilet as we walked in and very dim lighting in the room, all they needed were a fresh set of light bulbs. Paint chips from the walls all over the carpets, broken ice machines, I can go on and on. The location and water pressure were the only positive things I can shine light on, and of course the shuttle driver like I mentioned above.

Slow check-in, hot/humid lobby, staff member left the desk completely and never returned so only one person was checking in the line of people, gross lobby, gross carpets, stained couches

Why no name on the building?

It was ok. I only stayed overnight but the carpet in the hallway was stained, the elevators were pretty dated, the television took a while to work and the most important reason I'm giving an "OK" rating is because the phone in the room was inoperable and despite the fact that I realize that the majority of us carry cell phones I strongly believe that the telephones in hotel rooms should always be operable.

Not a great breakfast choice or options. Very limited. Good coffee.

My plane out of Mt was postponed due to mechanical problems. These clown refuse to refund me. They lost last night business and Sunday room. Plus 2 more rooms with 2 nights stay. They lost my business forever

This was a great place to stay right near the airport. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The front desk guy was extremely efficient when he had a long line of people waiting to check in all at once. He was very friendly and worked through the line quickly.

My room had a leaking toilet and subsequently the humidity in the room was quite high. Even with the a/c running all night on “dry” mode, it was uncomfortable and clammy in the room. Bed was decent but the carpeting was outdated and a little gross. I would not stay at this hotel again.

I stay on the 2nd floor and it had a weird smell in the hallway. My room was ok but the bed had a dip in it like the mattress was wore out a little… the best part was the shower and the waffles at breakfast

The rooms were not available at 4pm. No extra towels available. I’ve machine broken . Pool was closed and I had to go downstairs three times with an injured knee to finally get my key to work . The front desk staff weren’t very friendly just full of excuses .

Front desk staff was great, and rooms were clean.
