Beautiful property and love the location, near lots of outdoor shops and restaurants. Staff is so helpful and friendly and the rooms are modern, clean and lovely.

The location is ideal to great shopping and wonderful eating. I cannot recommend the Omni Charlottesville enough! The only issue is getting in and out of the garage. For whatever reason the electronic key system is quite touchy, and only works when it wants to. Forcing you to dial for help. This only becomes a problem when there is a line of cars behind you attempting to exit! Other than that, the hotel is absolutely, positively, fantastic!

Excellent Service

The Omni is a beautiful hotel and conveniently located next to the Downtown Mall. There were many food options and great stores for browsing. It was a perfect overnight stop on our way to D.C.

The bed is too used in room 309 and has a dent from where its been slept in most. Also the Peets coffee is flavorless but the coffee of the downtown mall made up for it. Stretched my back out in the pool and hot tub, and loved the indoor themes and art. Truely magnificent, change out the mattress.

We loved the hotel and location. The hotel was very comfortable, clean, and beautifully arranged. The staff was very pleasant and professional. The fitness center, pool, hot tub and sauna were wonderful amenities. The breakfast at Hillock on-site was delicious. And we loved being steps away from the downtown historic mall. We will definitely stay at Omni Hotel again!

The hotel overall was okay, and the décor was pleasant. We stayed for three nights on the fifth floor, but unfortunately, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I woke up every morning with pain throughout my body because the mattress was so hard and awkward to sleep on. I cannot emphasize enough how uncomfortable it was. Had I known beforehand about the quality of the beds, I definitely would have chosen to stay somewhere else.

10 out of 10 recommend was great for my birthday weekend. Cannot wait to go back. The staff was wonderful. The atrium is beautiful. The rooms were nice and clean.

Food options were underwhelming. I do not recommend the breakfast sandwiches ordered through the bar area - the one I received was barely edible. My latte, on the other hand was good. The rooms look nice and feel very clean for the most part. However the first room we were given smelled of cigarette smoke, so I asked to be moved. The room we ended up in seemed very clean at first glance, but the shower was in need of a good scrubbing. There was no fan or ventilation in the bathroom, and there appeared to be mold in the shower. I sent this information to the appropriate Omni channels with my specific room number so it could be addressed, and I received a response saying they sent my feedback to the specific hotel with a request that they follow up with me in 48 hours. It’s been 5 days, and I still haven’t heard from them. This was my first time staying at this hotel, so I’m not sure if I just had the bad luck of getting two subpar rooms, or if this is the norm.
