Omni Charlottesville Hotel

10 out of 10 recommend was great for my birthday weekend. Cannot wait to go back. The staff was wonderful. The atrium is beautiful. The rooms were nice and clean.

Food options were underwhelming. I do not recommend the breakfast sandwiches ordered through the bar area - the one I received was barely edible. My latte, on the other hand was good. The rooms look nice and feel very clean for the most part. However the first room we were given smelled of cigarette smoke, so I asked to be moved. The room we ended up in seemed very clean at first glance, but the shower was in need of a good scrubbing. There was no fan or ventilation in the bathroom, and there appeared to be mold in the shower. I sent this information to the appropriate Omni channels with my specific room number so it could be addressed, and I received a response saying they sent my feedback to the specific hotel with a request that they follow up with me in 48 hours. It’s been 5 days, and I still haven’t heard from them. This was my first time staying at this hotel, so I’m not sure if I just had the bad luck of getting two subpar rooms, or if this is the norm.

I spent 4 nights at the Omni but previous to that I hadn't been there since the renovation. My wife and I always enjoyed the Omni but the renovations were timely. Since the changes, we have really enjoyed a new sense of comfort and relaxation in the lobby area as well as the surrounding area to the bar. The access to the downtown mall is a real plus. Rooms are great and the beds are comfortable which is really important to all.

Great location, convenient to lots to do, excellent room. Staff seemed a bit harried and uninformed about amenities available within hotel.

My stay was excellent. The hotel is in a great location. All of the staff were excellent and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Good hotel. I enjoyed my stay

I stayed here with my two tween daughters and husband. I regret we were only staying for one night. Next time we are driving through Charlottsville, we will stay for longer. My girls loved the indoor and outdoor pool with late hours. They also loved the glass lifts looking over the beautiful lobby. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel but will definitely try it next time. We look forward to our next visit.

The Omni Hotel was great and very centrally located . We particularly liked the lobby area & the dining options .

The entire staff was excellent. Michael, the bartender, was a standout.

The location is the best. Right downtown. Staff is friendly & professional. Rooms are good but a/c is VERY LOUD.

The area around the property is in need of attention

Furthermore, the location of the hotel is ideal, walking distance to most everything. The cost of the rooms didn't really match the level the hotel is at right now.

Ken the bartender was great. They gave us a late checkout. At 2! We got complementary drink tickets for the bar that we used the place with centrally located near many restaurants and shops. Highly recommend.
