Courtyard by Marriott Bethesda/Chevy Chase

Only issue was hotel shuttle - front desk was not answering the phone so had to taxi which was annoying.

Heads up parking is additional, Hotel restaurant hours seem to vary rather then stick to the posted time. Room was spacious and shower had good hot pressure.

Exceptional

When we we booked it was advertised that breakfast was included. It was not. The parking available was an additional $30 per day. Please make sure that information is included on your website.

Billing is messy. I reserved the hotel through Expedia and already prepaid for the reservation , but hotel also charged me again room rate / charges during checkout, so I paid double. One to Expedia and one to the hotel .

We stayed here for a college drop off at American University. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Free coffee in the lobby. Clean room. Walking distance to a Starbucks, Metro, and lots of restaurants. There any other choices in this price range / location, so this feels like a good deal. Will be staying again in a few weeks when we come back for a visit. Thank you!

It was the perfect spot for a college move in and spending a couple of days in DC

My stay at the Marriott was very comfortable. I loved the hotel’s peaceful atmosphere and serenity, and the breakfast my friend and I ordered was delicious. There was nothing in particular that I disliked during my stay.

The room was clean and well-appointed, if somewhat small. The bathroom had a strange projection sticking out of the wall which the door barely cleared, but otherwise it was fine. My husband and I decided to get snacks from the lobby in the evening and we weren't charged for them, which was nice. We were only guests for one night, as I was having a procedure done early in the morning at the surgical center in the building next door. This was very convenient; I'm surprised that more people don't seem to take advantage of this.
