Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington DC Chevy Chase Pavilion

The property was beautiful and located in a great neighborhood. It was also very convenient, with easy access to the Metro, making it simple to get around. The front desk staff were consistently pleasant, welcoming, and always greeted us with a smile. The breakfast experience was excellent as well, from the quality of the food to the friendliness and service of the staff. The Arcade on the first level kept the kids entertained. Overall, we had a very positive experience and truly enjoyed our stay. The ONLY thing we didn’t like about this property was the beds. My wife and I found them extremely uncomfortable. I can’t speak for the other rooms, but the beds in our room were much too soft and felt like there was a noticeable dip or indentation in the mattress. Aside from the beds, we had a great experience with the property.

There were no clean towels at the pool.

Breakfast was convenient. You should let people know its attached to a business center. Pool was small, good it was indoors, but they were having swimming lessons. Vending machines weren't on. Limited options in the lil store thing in the lobby. Hadto go to another floor for ice. Mirror in bathroom was peeling. And the TV in the sitting area, is about to go out cause you can see the light grid through the show. Loved the wet bar, water was good and hot. Room was very clean and cleaned daily. Staff was so nice and helpful... the metro is attached to the building, which was freaking awesome. Enjoyed our stay. Lots of options close by.

Great front desk!

I am providing this review to document several concerns regarding my recent stay at the Embassy Hotel in Washington, D.C. On the first night of my stay, I discovered a roach in the bathroom. This was extremely concerning and negatively affected my comfort and confidence in the cleanliness of the room. I reported the issue and requested a refund when I decided to check out. However, I was unable to receive a refund at that time. I was informed that a supervisor wan't available and that I would need to wait until the following day to address the matter. Also a significant concern was the lack of customer service availability at the front desk. On multiple occasions, customer service personnel were not available at the desk when assistance was needed, making it difficult to promptly address my concerns.I understand that unexpected issues can occur at any hotel. However, I believe that concerns involving room cleanliness, particularly the presence of a pest, should be handled promptly and professionally. I also believe guests should have reasonable access to customer service and management when they are attempting to resolve a serious issue.I hope management will review this experience and take appropriate steps to address room cleanliness, front-desk availability, and the process for handling guest complaints and refund requests. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I would appreciate a response.

I booked the hotel because of an indoor pool and free breakfast. Breakfast was excellent. Pool we didn't use because they always had kid swim classes going on any time we would have been able to go.

Our room needs updating and the floor was filthy dirty.

I absolutely would stay here again it was amazing to get free breakfast and have such a clean room to stay in! The staff were absolutely amazing and were very friendly.10/10 best hotel I've been too

Everyone was disappointed that they didn’t have any sodas for breakfast or the evening reception all week. We had to pay $6 per 16oz Coke, Sprite etc. Ridiculous prices!!! We also say in the lobby every morning and it was several days in a row that the same trash was under the coffee table telling me it wasn’t cleaned thoroughly often enough. Other than that the staff was friendly and location was good.

Breakfast was decent but the hotel could use a lot of renovations.
