The location was extremely close to every place we visited The pool was an eyesore it wasdirectly outside of our room. The door to exit was loud so everytime some came or left it woke us up. We also did not have a dresser so there was no place to put our clothes.

The amount of spider webs I went through before I went to my room is ridiculous. I stayed for one day and I asked for a 45 min extension. I was told I could get 20 mins, after 21 minutes, I got a knock on the door from housekeeping, and a telephone call from the front desk. I thought it was unprofessional to rush me out the room like that. Next time, I’ll let housekeeping come in to clean when I’m getting my final things to leave. Acting like they deep clean when spider webs are everywhere.

Hotel and room are great, seems to be under renovations, Rooms and hotel are clean. Parking was great. Pool was closed and the cafe was under renovations. No ice machine. I will stay here again.

Clean rooms with double door security.

It was a basic, clean and comfortable room. The staff on duty was great and the free parking was a great bonus.

The hotel was really nice and the rooms are clean and nice looking. Also only a 5-7 minutes walk from the Metra station and the bus station that gets you downtown pretty easily. Overall it was a really nice and located in a safe neighbourhood. The only negative about this place was that the wi-fi was very slow and sometime it did not work.

Room was kept clean, parking was right outside the room-great. Staff was helpful, professional and available

Exceptional
-
We were two persons in the room with one chair. Another chair would be better
-
It was near the lake and within walking distance from public transportation. No breakfast
-
Property seems like it was just bought and trying to be refurbished or on its way out. However if you want an value room that is clean and roomy this is a good spot.
-
Clean room with comfortable mattress, coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. Excellent location by the lake. Safe neighborhood in Hyde Park. Could go for a nice jog in the morning to the beach and back. Metra (5 min walk) takes you directly to the convention center. The price of the room will not break the bank :)

Passable

The bed was comfortable. Room smelled musty. INSANELY PRICED.

The positive... the room was clean and updated. The bed and bedding was comfortable. The check in staff was nice. Parking was free and it was walking distance to Lakeshore trail. Close/ walking distance to nice cafes and Whole Foods and the Metra. Not Great: It is an older property...remnants of a pool and conference center. No ice machine You can and WILL hear those above you and those in the hallway... It was worth the price...I was prepared for a dirty run down spot but instead just a clean nicely updated room.

I like that parking is included I didn't like the check in time. I feel if there is a room available I should be able to check in.
