I would definitely return.

Not very well located. When attempting to enter the restaurant from the elevator I was told exit the the building and go around to the front entrance.Did this and waited 10. Minutes, and decided to leave and seek a dinner elsewhere.Having travelled from Cali.that morning my wife and I were starving.

The carpet in the room was wet. The bathroom shower was clogged but the room was nice and the view was great. The morning staff at the front desk clearly had some personal issues. Her demeanor was not pleasant. morning of 20 September. (and no I did not ask or get a discount)

Great hotel with an awesome Hyde Park vibe. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful property and great location.

The room itself was not only immaculate but well laid out, with the HVAC equipment blending into the decor like a cabinet. The beds were quite comfortable. But what impressed my daughter most were the little things. The beautiful artwork. The complimentary mocktail in the lobby. The notepad in the room that comes with a magnifying glass. Highly, highly recommended.

What an amazing stay! This hotel was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. I truly enjoyed every moment of my stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and memorable experience!

Staff was very professional and helpful. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was good snd convenient.

If You’ve Never Stayed Here, Please Do!! Eccentric & Beautiful!! Beautiful Place!!

The General Manager was incredibly rude and unhelpful. But upon my arrival, and throughout my stay, the rest of the staff (except for one male part-time front desk clerk) were all professional, polite, and efficient. I had specifically told the hotel ahead of time that I would need my room refrigerator empty and ready to use. Unfortunately, I found that it was NOT cooling properly. I reported it, and the engineer came when I called at 7AM (so my day was not interrupted) and swapped-it-out. NOTE: THE DESCRIPTION SAID THERE IS A ROOM SAFE, BUT THERE WAS NONE. When I asked the (one sub-par male part-time desk clerk), he said there's one drawer in the room with a CHILD-PROOF LOCK, that "anyone can get into." I told him I had cash, credit cards, etc that I did not want to leave unlocked in my room! He said, "Now that I KNOW they are in the room, they can't be stolen!" I told him THAT WAS NOT OK. Another, Full Time Desk Agent SAID HE WAS WRONG, and offered to lock my items in an individual Safety Deposit Box (for which only I would have the key) inside the office, free of charge, due to the FALSE ADVERTISING THAT ALL ROOMS HAVE A SAFE. NOTE: EXPEDIA SAID MY TRIP WAS PAID, BUT THEN AFTER THE FACT, A $29-PER-DAY "AMENITY" AND $100 PER DAY "INCIDENTALS CREDIT CARD HOLD" WAS ISSUED. I contacted the hotel IMMEDIATELY, months ahead, to inform them of that, and ask that the $29-per-day be waived, and a Block be put on my acct. so no one would be able to charge ANYTHING to my room!

We had a wonderful stay at Sophy Hyde Park! The hotel was beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean, and offered excellent amenities. Every staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The location was also perfect—centrally located in Hyde Park and convenient to restaurants, attractions, and everything we wanted to explore. We would gladly stay at Sophy Hyde Park again!

The staff was friendly and helpful 24/7. The bar was vibrant and fun.

Lovely hotel, no parking unless on the street. Clean/spacious rooms. Front desk staff the night we checked in was rude, seemed agitated that we disturbed her to check in.
